This is so timely for me. I got my race cleaned up and today my fiber connects. I didn't realize they were adding copper to pure fiber. Thank you.

Thats a power conductor for fiber repeaters/amplifiers after extended distances.
Mostly for undersea where there are no alternative sources of power after extended distances or splices.
The bronze casing for those costs as much as a house.

I got the job!!! We are Moving back to Washington State.!! I was in tears yesterday from the stress of my current job. And today I am in tears of joy to be offered this position so quickly . This is like my total dream job. I feel like I’m going home back to all the gorgeous hikes and summits I fell in love with years ago. Through my travels and all the beautiful places I have visited nothing touches Washington State.

So many places to hike, and trees like nowhere else! You can do the volcano routes, winery and farms, the coastal rainforests, Columbia river canyons, beach n seafood road trip, Pacific Crest trail, eastern desert lava flows. Then Vancouver if you get bored, just an endless list.

Yes indeed, I know all about it. I had a house there, I started my career there and was there for 8 years . I have explored the region extensively. And Vancouver will be my go to city.

So last night my wife was going through the fridge looking for something to take to work for lunch and there were two al pastor burrito roaches- one from yesterday and one from last thursday that was wrapped in foil- she said she was going to take the one from yesterday and I told her she should take the older one, which spurred a small argument in the house of Napsalot
So after she went to bed, I took the foil off the older one and put it in a plastic bag like the newer one
I was on the toilet this morning when I heard her laughing in the kitchen
She's such a good sport

I accomplished exactly dick today. Spent hours digging holes in the yard where I thought I might find the water main - all for nothing. Either they buried that motherfucker really deep, or took some indirect route laying the pipe between the meter and the house. Fuck me, this sand ain't fun to dig through.
