does it work with the ACI controller?I am tempted to buy a Vivosun controller and see how that goes. I bought one of their oscillating fans recently, cheaper, smoother and quieter and hopefully sturdier than what aci currently sells.
Hah, no. When I saw it has a usb-c cable I plugged it in naturally, but the controller doesn't recognize it. I think the vivosun controller may be able to control my light directly thodoes it work with the ACI controller?
Take the bullet and let us know I'm looking at moving to something like the Pulse Pro but I haven't looked enough.I am tempted to buy a Vivosun controller and see how that goes. I plugged a usb c hub into it hoping it would give me more ports lol. That didn't work either.Hah, no. When I saw it has a usb-c cable I plugged it in naturally, but the controller doesn't recognize it. I think the vivosun controller may be able to control my light directly tho
I snagged a handful of the oscillating fans from vivosun and LOVE them so far. They just have the one grow on them but they are still quiet and I cannot hear the ones right next to my bed.I am tempted to buy a Vivosun controller and see how that goes. I looked at that. Pricy and it only appears to be environmental monitor. I have my ACI set up to ramp up and slow down the fans based on the tent enviroment.Take the bullet and let us know I'm looking at moving to something like the Pulse Pro but I haven't looked enough.
Are they designed to operate for more than 18 hours a day? That really annoys me about the ACI and you can't control the oscillating through the controller. I have three ACI S6 fans running 24/7... waiting for them to die lol.I snagged a handful of the oscillating fans from vivosun and LOVE them so far. They did what I got them for, so as far as that's concerned, yes, I'm happy with them. BUT.... After the lockout situation last month (my fault kind of for not actually flushing them weekly or however often I should have) I realized I left a lot on the table. After seeing what all 6 of these plants have done under the 640w led vs the single plant under 300w, I know that I can up the health and ultimately the yield of the plants with a drip system that doesn't need flushed. So, did they do what I bought them for? Yes. I wanted them to keep my plants alive for 3-5 days if I decided to leave for a bit. Are they optimal? Not for me. They may work better in soil than coco. In the words of you, they were consistently inconsistent and I can't wait to see what the drip system does compared to them.So are you happy with the blumats? It looks like the worked way better for you than they did for me.
I mean, they've been running 24/7 for a few months at this point. But I'm not sure what they say about it.Are they designed to operate for more than 18 hours a day? That really annoys me about the ACI and you can't control the oscillating through the controller. I have three ACI S6 fans running 24/7... waiting for them to die lol.
First thing I noticed. Aci fans get janky if you look at them wrong. I think when they oscillate and encounter resistance from tent walls it breaks the gearing in the motor. I took one apart to investigate and a plastic cog had one tooth broken which is enough to wreck it.I snagged a handful of the oscillating fans from vivosun and LOVE them so far. That makes sense. I make sure mine don't touch when oscillating to the best of my ability. So far, so good.First thing I noticed. Aci fans get janky if you look at them wrong. To be honest I hand feed mine once a week too. They did what I got them for, so as far as that's concerned, yes, I'm happy with them. BUT.... Good choice LGSo are you happy with the blumats? It looks like the worked way better for you than they did for me.
I placed an order for 12 of the netbow halos. Giving up on the DIY halos.

Ahh. I don't use a controller. Just plug em into the outlet.
If they know that they'll live forever you know. Are they designed to operate for more than 18 hours a day? That really annoys me about the ACI and you can't control the oscillating through the controller. I have three ACI S6 fans running 24/7... waiting for them to die lol.
I had to space mine away from the tent walls a bit to keep it from rubbing. That makes sense. I make sure mine don't touch when oscillating to the best of my ability. So far, so good.
