I am tempted to buy a Vivosun controller and see how that goes. I bought one of their oscillating fans recently, cheaper, smoother and quieter and hopefully sturdier than what aci currently sells.
I snagged a handful of the oscillating fans from vivosun and LOVE them so far. They just have the one grow on them but they are still quiet and I cannot hear the ones right next to my bed.

Are they designed to operate for more than 18 hours a day? That really annoys me about the ACI and you can't control the oscillating through the controller. I have three ACI S6 fans running 24/7... waiting for them to die lol.

So are you happy with the blumats? It looks like the worked way better for you than they did for me.
They did what I got them for, so as far as that's concerned, yes, I'm happy with them. BUT.... After the lockout situation last month (my fault kind of for not actually flushing them weekly or however often I should have) I realized I left a lot on the table. After seeing what all 6 of these plants have done under the 640w led vs the single plant under 300w, I know that I can up the health and ultimately the yield of the plants with a drip system that doesn't need flushed. So, did they do what I bought them for? Yes. I wanted them to keep my plants alive for 3-5 days if I decided to leave for a bit. Are they optimal? Not for me. They may work better in soil than coco. In the words of you, they were consistently inconsistent and I can't wait to see what the drip system does compared to them.

First thing I noticed. Aci fans get janky if you look at them wrong. I think when they oscillate and encounter resistance from tent walls it breaks the gearing in the motor. I took one apart to investigate and a plastic cog had one tooth broken which is enough to wreck it.

That makes sense. I make sure mine don't touch when oscillating to the best of my ability. So far, so good.

To be honest I hand feed mine once a week too.

I placed an order for 12 of the netbow halos. Giving up on the DIY halos.

Good choice LG ;)
I ended up adding a few more holes to the tube for better flow
