Worked the high yards last week. They are pouring money into digitization. One place still had mechanical drop down numbers to show what breaker had to be manually reset.

Static at some of these places makes all the nerves tingle, then crows watching you all the time.
Bad Mojo

I snuck my old Philips 250 watt 4000k CMH back into the flower tent. The UV turns my wife’s Transitions glasses damn near black in a few seconds, and that IR spike helps keep growing mix a little warmer. Using up NIB bulbs made March 2013.

Cleaned and organized the condo. What a cluster fuck. The condo came furnished and has way too many pieces of furniture and way too many pillows . I stacked all 15 extra pillows neatly onto the spare bed and organized all the 100s of pieces of Tupperware and stacked and moved furniture out of the way to open the living room up so that I have an area to do yoga. Covered up the stained sofa with the extra bed covers and vacuumed. Bought some trekking poles at REI . Strained my neck vacuuming so icing it now while doing a few meditations.

Well, yesterday I was leading after the first 2 heats in the 2023 HOPAC series (racing HO scale slotcars in Seattle and Portland) when my car started losing power, so I ended up taking 4th place. There's one race left in this best of 4 out of 6 series, and I have enough points that no one can beat me for the series championship

Yummy.
Here are a couple more mushrooms from the trail today. One huge one was breaking soil and popping out. Wow, it is so strong ! I brushed the soil off the top .

They are remarkable beings. If humans become extinct mushrooms will take over the earth.

Are you able to confidently ID the shrooms ? I’m able to ID some but it’s a dangerous game if you’re even a little bit unsure. Taking pics is safe enough lol. Great pics btw . Glad to see you enjoying your latest move.

No I am not confident about identifying them.
I am not really interested in eating the ones on the trails , I am just interested in finding a good psilocybin connection and eating those kind. I just like taking pictures of them. I have met some people here already that do hunt them and eat them but it doesn’t interest me. I look them up in the books around here to get an idea of what some are. I watched a movie about mushrooms on Netflix last night. It was alright. They showed some people being supervised while taking psilocybin. It was kinda ridiculous. They were lying down, blindfolded with earbuds on and a nurses was holding their hand the entire time. When I eat them I like to go exploring outside with my eyes wide open.

I have the “ shroomy “ app and it helps with ID’ing, at some point on every page it says “ never munch on a hunch “ I think that is the most important thing on the page. I’m not interested in eating them either but I would like to good at ID’ing them , just to I can. Keep posting those pics, they are beautiful.

Hi Bareback! I hope you’re having a great day.
I went on a hike yesterday and there were mushrooms everywhere!! I took so many pictures for you. Here are 2 collages of some of my favorites. The first picture at the lake I spotted a massive cluster growing next to that tree that saddled the lakes edge. It is beautiful.
the key to a good mushroom photo is the lighting. Going into the hike it was darker than coming out. This is a gorgeous trail for sure.
I am trying to locate some lobster mushrooms but they are very elusive.

Those are amazing. I’m a little jealous of the time you get to spend on the trail .Good luck finding that lobster.

Jesus Christ i need to get out. Those are some great looking mushies. Are you actually out there foraging for them? Or just run into them?
