Hello! Nice to meet some of my fellow growers here in VA! I'm about half an hour outside roanoke myself. What an awesome time to be a grower in virginia! Currently growing a run of blueberry muffins by humbolt. This is my 4th grow. Two runs of lsd strain and one run of dosidos. I have only grown in soil, but am considering hydroponics at some point.Beautiful plants, we're neighbors practically. I can walk to the Blue Ridge Parkway through the woods. It's a few miles away as the crow flies.
At this point I'd say start new seeds I'm afraid. Trying to reveg plants that are that far along just isn't going to be worth the time, effort and cost. It's going to take 3-4 weeks for them to reveg and they're gonna be ugly as heck when they're done. I'd cull what you have and see if you can do anything with the buds like an extraction.11/19/23 - Unfortunately, I’ve had some pretty serious back issues and haven’t been able to care for these plants at all. Now, they look pretty horrible – tons of issues w. the leaves. Still on a 20/4 hour light cycle in hopes of switching from Flower back to Veg. Would like to transplant from one gallon fabric grow pots to either a 3 gallon or a 5 gallon. Humidity was quite low (34%) w. temperature at 74 F., so set up a humidifer in the room. Will feed them some GeoFlora Veg in hopes that it will help.
Not sure what's going on here. Too much light? Not enough of the proper nutes? Something else?
Any advice on what to do here?

Think you're right on both counts! Not enough water AND haven't fed them nutes in at least a few weeks. Far too difficult to deal w. stairs to get to them while my back has been screwed up.It looks like a severe nutrient deficiency but I can't say if it occurred from a ph problem or bad watering practices.
Thanks so much! I'm set w. seeds due to winning some seeds. Plus, still have a couple from my first purchase. If you need seeds for the next run just let me know and I'll send you something good. Hope you have good luck with getting them to reveg and your back gets better soon.
There is always a need for response time. If your less the 2 weeks away from harvest you probably won't see a stress event cause a full herming, definitely not enough time for self pollution and seed development. A fully developed healthy plant is very resilent a loss of <20% mass should not be an issue assuming no infections.(outdoor big risk, indoor in a sterile tent not so much) plant wound/grafting gel is cheap if you feel it's needed. So, I'm a few weeks out from harvest and I read this post about this fellow that cut the main cola off when it looked ready, and let the rest of the plant continue to ripen. Anyone ever try, or know someone that tried this? Seems risky. Wouldn't this stress the plant too much? Increase the likelihood of herming?
Nice! I'll give that a try this time. Thanks! There is always a need for response time. The colas that relieve the most light will finish the fastest. It is very possible the tops are fully ripped a week before the lower branches.
I've chopped whole plants at once and left them rooted and slowly harvested for as much as 3 weeks.
I might be interested but not until spring, not sure what part of the state you are in though, im in VB. I run mostly Dominion beans, skunks etc. planning also on running choc thai this spring as well.I was wondering if there may be any interest in swapping genetics as we get a little closer to spring? My next grow will be Mystery Made from elev8 genetics. Gonna take some cuttings, and I thought I could cut a few extra if someone might want to trade a couple? Again, just seeing if there was an interest for my fellow Virginia growers. Anyone know what they're growing next? I've also been eyeing the Hella Jelly and Zoapamine strains. Anyone have any experience with those?
Wow, you had buds on an outdoor grow in June?Southwest Virginia here 15 miles from Tennessee. Lost 96% of my outdoor this year to the rot. That fkn cold wet stretch back in June started it all. Fought it all summer and lost. Probably lost somewhere between 6-8 pounds. And I’m growing in a covered area kind of a partial greenhouse type setup. Can’t imagine what straight full on outdoor would be like. Next year i wanna try to grow only proven mold resistant strains if there is such a thing.
It's late August here in VA up in the North Valley!...you might get an early budset if you put them out too 3arly and it will fuck them up for veg as they are spending time revertingWow, you had buds on an outdoor grow in June?
Thanks, will do and best wishes back atcha!Yes, it wouldn't be anytime soon. Maybe sometime, give or take, around April. Might not be practical for you anyway. The nearest city for me is Roanoke. Unless you are out this way around then. Feel free to shout out if you are. Love my indicas too! That Chocolate Thai sounds inticing though! Let me know how it does for you if you think about it. Best of luck on your growing!
