Stoned Gardener here, obviously. I have something to say about the afore mentioned nouns in the thread title. I've always been a stickler, when it comes to the Englush language, especially with my kids.
However, as the old saying goes, " There are exceptions to every rule " . Most of the time I'm pretty high, and or shellaced . I'm simply in a flow of consciousness. This is when I'm oblivious to the rules of writing. I cannot focus on that, it's not crucial to what I'm trying to express. I just try getting all my bullshit thoughts " down on paper " before I lose them ( I can lose a thought in a second ). However, I do review my entries sometimes and cringe at the misspelled words , punctuation etc. It is embarrassing. In those states of mind, proof reading never enters my mind.
