sometimes overflushing, I have heard, can leave you with dark ash/inconsistent burn.

I really flush closer to 5 days tbh, distilled water, and more focus on drying the plants out than running massive amounts of empty water through the medium. Once the nutrients are gone there is nothing for the plant to take up even if it was trying, so in my mind at this point, after you have flushed the medium of nutrition, any water given is to help the plants retain some turgor. The flushing process at this point, to me, takes place inside of the flowers. The plant, hypothetically, uses any residual excess nutrition within itself, leaving a smooth, salt combustion free smoke.bongsmilie The only use diluted water has is to dilute and remove any residual nutrients in the pot, the plant is not retaining water void of nutrition, it is using it to support itself and then transpiring it off.
I will keep that in mind. I have flushed for 10 days, 14 days and 21 days. Not sure if I ever tried 7 days but I also tried not flushing at all. I will be doing some testing and will try 4-5-6-7 days to see if I see a difference. thanks for the info

Flowerpower88, if you had to choose between the GSC forum cut or the gary payton and you didn't care about the yield (gary payton is a heavier yielder apparently), which one would you choose?
I personally like the terps on GP better than anything in the cookies fam I’ve grown. I haven’t grown GSC, but I’ve heard that it’s really good if grown right. That being said, my first harvest being in 56 days and being as good as it was, it definitely is a beast outdoor too. For my purposes I’m never ever giving up Gary Payton, and intend to breed with her at some point when I have a dedicated space

Here is a terpene analysis off my first run of this cut:IMG_5563.png
This is the lab data off of Hytiva, and I looked in a few other places and they all said the dominant profile was caryophylene:IMG_5564.png
I think it might be wedding cake.
