MEDIDEDICATED

Rinsed/buffered coco from dry brick, nutrifield. Good stuff. 90/10 coco/pearlite. One bean popped already on day 3 germinating, Kongs Krush. Excited for this strain. The other will name when its officially under the light and growing. I think it will be ready tomorrow.

Had to do a lot of blue printing of what I am trying to do and last second setup upgrade. Had a silly moment using tubs that cannot hold water. Upgrading to flexi tank, two 60 gal reservoir/drain and two 25 gal for veg in a slightly smaller tent 2x4. In case you wonder how those hold up, will let yall know.

It will take a while to get going with what I decided to do. Will just throw pics in here as I go a long.

Here is a seedling potted 2 weeks ago. Had trouble getting the other one started, transplanting the other one soon. Growth spurting. Need to see what 2 gallons can do instead of 3 to help with air layering with a easy amount to strap around stems and flip right after chopping the mothers in half in the same 2 gallons.

Need to start looking for strains I want to mainly work with to make a successful producing perpetual garden of a nice size but still small. 4 plants and an auto space cabinet which has its own journal. That is it. Now to just unload pics as I go along.

To start it is Kongs Krush and Watermelon Ultra. Going to concentrate the journal and only post monthly. Just wanted to let yall know what the plan was. Perpetuating seeds and eventually clones and then air layering mothers to perpetuate faster.

After a bad strain for rosin harvested I am in hurry to find one or two rosin strains if these arent already it so I am flipping these asap, when the watermelon ultra catches up in few weeks.

Going to switch to 8 plants in one gallon for next run. Hopefully one or two of these can be ran mostly as clones and a plant or two of tester beans. Bean hunting for rosin plants. My last harvest of two plants, one did great but the other was horrible, yielded no hash.

bro how did i just find this grow journal i love your tent! and you use nutrifield coco from bricks just like me <3 :3 its really good stuff.
your plants look super healthy!
if you are trying to find plants that are good for rosin production shouldn't you be looking for the plants with the highest amount of thc?

Thanks! yea that can hint at a frostier strain which is the yield but it could have lower thc and still be frosty. So I did a virtual bean hunt through UK attitude which is soo large but I narrowed it to these strains and bought a lot of them as shown.

I got some that are 35% thc which I am hoping to be my main producers that yield higher than 25% return but the goal is 15% minimal which is 1 gram per 7 gs flower. I just harvested a strain that yielded zero.

I am about to physically hunt through the beans to find the best ones. 8 one gallon pots so canopy can grow fast and easy. 2 oz per plant is the goal after this run.

8 one gallon pots in a 2.5x5 tent? from seed? how long will you veg them out before putting them in 12/12?

im sorry that you harvested a strain that yielded zero rosin that sucks man!

dang you got alot of seeds in those pictures man! will be fun growing them out and pressing them into rosin!

I have a 2x4’ veg tent that will be a lab for mothers and bonsai mothers for long term storage. The morhers will be air layered if I can mananage to pull it off.

If I can, you just chop the air layered sites and can flip right away. But until I get that advanced I will just keep a couple mothers and take 8 clones from which ever and veg some in the veg tent and then move to flower and flip when ready.

The air layering would help speed up the process. So I would be running clones and 1 or 2 plants will be a new bean to see if it can replace a strain if its better. Up until I have the best weed for rosin.

So Id say like 30 days veg in veg tent and 30 days veg in flower tent then flip. Kind of a loose plan but the jist of it until I air layer. Just look up air layering and youll imediately understand what I mean if you didnt.

Might have to make a separate small space for bonsai mothers for the mean time.

I had thrown the lemon bubble in there and flipped early, the kongs krush just barely showed pistol, the watermelon was about 5 weeks old when flipped but showed pistol like a week later or so. Lemon was either male or full herm and had to toss it. Too many sacs and no pistols whatsoever.

Fed 4 times a day 1.1ec and drifting ph 5.8-6.2. 68-77F and 40-53rh. Entering mid flower almost on the kongs krush but the watermelon gots time to go still. Is a slow growing strain, not liking that where as the kongs is more quicker growing and fills space quicker.

So krongs I could flip clones sooner knowing its a stretcher and vigorous growing. Took cuttings two weeks ago, hoping they root any day now or not, that will determine what goes into the 8 available spots next time as well as after I see if they yield rosin. If not, its gone.

So getting the next run figured out within the next two weeks. I got veg tent getting setup, 2x4x5. This tent is 2.5x5x6.

Kongs krush going into late flower. Reaks like banannas. Watermelon ultra entering mid flower. I dont smell anything from it yet. Made a clone of each since they were the only success. Bought an aero cloner for these mothers to produce.

Everythings just going perfect. 70-78F, 35-45RH. Fan and dehuey cranked to max. Half way through! Edit I just saw the WU actually has oil/sugar already, it smells like a lemon gassy smell. Added pic of whole plant.

Just some frost shots. Next post will be harvest. 2 or 3 and half weeks. The watermelon ultra should be done a couple weeks after 2 or 3 and half weeks from now. I will be running two strains just like this again as getting these two strains ready for next run will take about the same time.

Next update will have the next two strains up though shouldnt count it till you see pistols. The Kongs is ripening from top down, about half way done.

The lower canopy is just finishing up. Then theres like a half oz-oz of larf that will be chopped as is. Seems to be finishing on time with breeder eatimate. That will be good for my perpetual needs. 8-9 week strain.

Took a month, and a re shipment but geeked to have my beans. These should last a while. Not hard to please, I already love these two plants I got right now. Will try one each flower run.

I have 5 frozen black cherry and 5 high mars that I might bean hunt 4 at once and keep one for spare of each to take advantage of long term storage of genetics. It could also be a bad bean but IME most the time I get awesome plants from each bean.

I only got a male after like 10 strains. These are the best plants yet but I got lucky and selected at random. These beans were carefully hunted through the entire site though and each should be something I want to keep but cant.

Harvested the Kongs Krush week 6 yueld 5.32oz or 134gs. I harvested early sure but everything was cranked to the max adding costs and went by my 90%orange hairs emergancy harvest window tactic.

I can easily let the Watermelon go much longer and will. But not looking like a yielder. But this strain isnt doing well at the press at 7% yield rosin approx.

The KK colas were swaying open to mush against the wall or collapse upside down. A net would be good for that but already want to run things differently that wont need nets.

Plannin on perpetuating each side of tent so that way everything aint cranked to the max and have much more control over RH. Like right now I have so much slack left with a plant in late flower.

Turned most of it to 11.4gs rosin. 9% yield. I had this qp but also 15gs that I cut before the final harvest. So thats what adds to 5.3oz.

Gotta love my roommate situation, everyone hates doing chores but I can lessen the electric bill to none if I do them. I really appreciate that while I am I just starting out and working on yield. They really appreciate that too so it helps them appreciate my grow.

Its 30 a month but can find more ways. I guess wont eliminate the whole bill but theres often big projects I could help with that could help a lot.

edit I have a new edition to garden, g13 labs tropical punch. Based on description am hoping for good results with rosin.

Good news in medidedicated’s garden. I found what I want to work with for a good while. Improve yield and accomplish some of my goals. The Watermelon Ultra yields 15% at the press. The Kongs Krush is 9% and really makes me work for it.

So I am getting rid of the KK. I like the smell and taste of the WU better too. Lemon kushy. We will see what the Tropical Punch does so it be female.

As for earnings they need to look at bill comprehensively as calculating a portion of it correctly enough is not as easy as it seems. I cant use hydrobuilders calculator, it depends on a few things or more.

But so far 100 bucks but I did chores so its 70$ for 5.3oz. Bill could be little less or more in actuallity. So thats nice. Idk what I am yielding in bud for the WU but not looking like a big yielder but the extra rosin makes it my Michael Jordan right now.

I am working on using 8 half gal floraflex pots, clones super short veg time. One being a new strain to rival the WU. In mean time going to test a half gal on one side of tent with TP see how big it gets. Might flip early.

WU flipped early and took a week or two to mature and flip but its at 8 weeks since flip. Finishing late flower and its rising in rh. Set dehuey to 35% but was at CO when other plant was in here so still got slack.

I think using a ink bird probe and outlet would make it more sufficient, the buffering while set to 40% makes it 50% in tent so maybe its that which the inkbird would solve. I use one for harvest and it works great.

No white hairs left on plant, chopping in couple weeks. I harvested an oz that collapsed on floor but learned I could of just propoed it back up even though this late in flower.

But at least I got to see already this early that this can even yield 20% at the press! Sorry my title of journal kind of screams at ya, didnt think that through but I do feel like screamin this from the roof tops!

Watermelon Ultra, watermelon ultra !! Need to grow out a bunch if it!!

All I did was mess around with press, going to double check if the kongs krush can do this too but I like the flavor better on this WU.

4g flower and 3.5gs flower the tool weighs 17.54gs.

My beloved strain in action. 3.5gs flower to .7 gs rosin. 20% return. I dabbed it low temp its delicious. Going to work with this for a while. Half a mind to aim for 95gs a harvest. Nothin but Watermelon Ultra!
