I've heard some using inflatable gators around the perimeter of the ponds. The theory is the geese see the inflate-a-gator close to the shore and think they are lunch if they land there.

Anyone else REALLY intrigued to see her putting stance?

My guy who plows for me took out a flower garden and a small tree 2 driveways down from me last night

Had to wrap a towel around my head last night, it kept the sound from howling wind and frozen rain at bay.
Looks like a fun day ahead.

Well, didn't see the tree down this morning, it was pitch black.
75ft+ Norway spruce went down hard, it would have crushed the barn, maybe part of the house if it went the other way.
Split the trunk 20ft up from wind shear.

I had to pick up a tree out of the street this morning. Judging by the plastic in the street, I imagine someone found part of it in the dark as well.

Had same happened here last Christmas if went other way would of crushed the house took power lines out instead took 4 days get power back on with 5 below at nights. Had cups of water on counter frozen. I was like you trying to drown out the winds banging windows.

I told my daughter the tree took out her car, she got whiplash and eyeball bulge.
Then I laughed but she didn't think it was funny, couldn't figure out if I was kidding or not.
