Supposed to get about an inch of rain here tomorrow, the snow in the mountains will be a little wetter this time around. Snow level about 4-5K and probably get another foot or so depending on altitude. There was a landslide at Palisades Tahoe yesterday, they dug out 4 people and had one person not make it. It was on a black diamond run close to the top but it was still inbounds.
Mornin.

I grabbed a kerosene heater this week in case power goes out this winter. I have a generator but it would struggle trying to run an electric heater with the load on it from the fridge and freezer. We have a few inches of snow forecast this next week and the temps are going to be in the teens which is a good bit colder than usual. Got plenty of weed, coffee and chocolate so I'm good lol.

FYI

They can be risky for sure but in an old house like ours the ventilation is not a problem. There's so much air getting in past the windows it keeps the carbon monoxide levels in check. Thanks for the heads up though, they can be deadly. Two soldiers in a unit doing training with us put a small propane heater in their tent for the night. When they both missed roll call in the morning someone checked on them and they were both dead, blue lips and eyes open. It was really sad, they were both just kids pretty much. I've been careful ever since and we have a carbon monoxide alarm just for peace of mind.
