My parents had one when I was a kid. Frame was so rusted out from the road salts that they never could quite get it past PA inspection. Also had a '69 Impala convertible with the 327 in it. Same deal, the frame was so rusted out it was pretty much unsafe at any speed. Get 'em cheap and have something neat to beat into the ground for a year or two.

Everything you need they probably have. I've used LMC many times.

I did the top once by myself.....only once and I was probably 20 lol never again.

Mine was pretty rusty too. Learned how to replace u/joints, synch rings, clutch stuff on this bitch, piece of cardboard, gravel driveway, trouble light :hump:

Got the Bronco from my step-brother, who's a good 450+ pounds. Apparently he's one of those jackasses who rest their fat arm on the shifter while in 2nd gear. Now the damn thing grinds in and out of 2nd if you're going above 18mph. That's where I draw the line. Replaced a few transmissions in my day, but no way I'm interested in taking any apart.

When I was like 14-ish, my dad got some crazy crackhead deal from some guy he worked with. A 1972 Cadillac Sedan de Ville 472ci with crazy low miles in practically mint condition. Even the leather was pretty much perfect. All it needed was a stupid wheel bearing and the dude sold it to my dad for $50. Bet that land-yacht would be worth something today in that condition.
