What are you watching?

I like this too. Here's a pretty good book on the history of the Tong wars.
https://www.amazon.com/Hatchet-Men-Story-Franciscos-Chinatown/dp/1618090518

also this by Peter Huston,: Tongs, gangs, and triads : Chinese crime groups in North America
As some as this show came on I noted the date and wandered if it would run up to the earthquake and maybe more. I don’t know if the hero in this story can take enough ass whoopings to get to 1906 lol.
Thanks for the book recommendation.

Recently finish Netflix’s Avatar and Reacher: S2 on Prime. Now I’m onto The Gentlemen Series on Netflix. Which I think everyone should watch and go back and watch the movie. Same sort of premise but new weird/odd Guy Richie characters. Basically these families that have had mansions/castles in the family for hundreds and hundreds of years. No longer have the money to live in them with the pomp/help anymore. So the black market marijuana business comes into play. I’ll leave it at that

Love Guy Richie. I saw the movie, it was pretty good. I'll check out the series, thanks...

Just watched the first episode of Shogun, and I'm hooked. I've always loved the lore of feudal Japan - The Bushido, fearless Samurai, magical ninja, etc.. This is a wonderful production, great cinamatography, intense acting. 5 lords in a cold war waiting to see who will take the title of Shogun, the politics are complex and interesting. Excited to see how this plays out....

Thanks.

I just finished binging the first 4 episodes.

Waiting for #5 will be stressful enough.

Too bad consorts went out of style. One could be useful during this brief intermission.

Can't wait for Tuesday! I just finished episode 4 last night, a consort or two would help. Anna Sawai is so hot, I fell in love during the Kurt Russell Monsters series.

I'm wondering if there's any way to make this suit even tighter...

Watched JACKASS 4EVER a little uneven on the good jokes and WAY TOO MANY DICKS/BALLS events for laughs. Some were great pretty damn great and please get a good bake before consuming. Also a lot of newbies to the cast and felt like a baton was slowly being handed over, but not yet I think. Now enjoy what was my favourite scene
