Crippy

“Florida OG is also called Crippy or Ocean Grown and was cultivated by DNA Genetics in Amsterdam. Many sources say it was the original OG Kush strain that spawned all the OG Kush genetics, but only the creators truly know the truth. The parent’s strains are Chemdawg and a combination of Lemon Thai and Hindu Kush Pakistan. With a unique and even 50-50 profile, as a hybrid it is balanced and can be taken at any of the days. With content averaging 22 to 28%, it packs a punch that is just right.”

There is still sources that have clones available also.

That's the only place I ever heard that term used at all. How it was used sounded like some killer bud. Buddy told me a story about how his buddy took one big hit and fell off his chair out cold. Dunno the circumstances since I wasn't there but I was led to believe it was the hit.

South Florida bud. It was the first $50/eighths I came across mid 90's Broward county. Seedless, very light green , and very tight compact buds from what I can recall. The multiple bags of crippy we got our hands on were all the same, having me believe it was a specific strain and not a broad term for great weed like some may suggest.

That brings back an aspect that I remember now. My friend did describe it as a chunk like that and I believe they smoked it with a hot knife, like hash. Don't know if they had to or what but that's how they did it when his buddy fell over.

SoCal called dank weed Crip before it was OG.
To the urbanites it felt gangsta. And to the peckerwoods it was short for crippler.
It was just another word used to identify good weed.
Like OG before it was applied to specific clones.
Before OG we just called it G.
OG became a step above G due to veterano status.
And before crip, the word was cush not kush because most socal stoners didn't anything about the actual Kush region herb

Many people misunderstand where Crippy originates from, but it's become clear to me now having discovered the 'popcorn' phenotype from Tampa Crippy that it's a popcorn TK that's within this Tampa Crippy lineage, which is now my CripXmas line A and B. I already posted about a Crippy and Xmas back in 22 here, but most seem to be asleep Let me tell you there's is NO ONE with this combination of Tampa Crippy 9 (not available), Xmas Bud and PTK. Even IF you got all seeds to cross together each one, the outstanding odds are low a new recombinant is created, which a PTK resin male did inadvertently to get my 2 plants from. I made a double Xmas cross from my A and found an interesting Xmas male. From that I've made a FAST 43-45 flowering dwarf plant replete with a complex pine terpenes profile and ridiculously potent. I've been sent messages by various growers on Strainly that have told me recreating pine terpenes isn't something they could accomplish, so before anyone thinks they can get the "same" Crippy, you won't, because it's not same make up as what I've done, and now let me show you White Diamonds popcorn FL Crippy. And let's also say TC has 2 pheno's, TC A is like central/north FL piney gas and my TC B is like Crippy is SFL more funky gas. TC B BX2 is already in the works

I do, and someone I met up here visited Gainesville regularly, so one time he brought back these tiny ball buds, consisting of marble abd pea size lime green buds and told me it's the famous Gainesville Green. It was definitely THAT cause I couldn't smoke much anyway. Sunshine State Seeds has it right now for 100. If I had an address to use, I'd definitely get it myself. From what I understands it's heirloom Panama Red

Does any of you old farts remember when a certain type of weed was referred to as “ Crippy” ???
Was that a strain or a just street terminology???
Some swear its one most agree its like kind bud or skunk or whatever its more a catch all term vs a actual strain and i know skunk is a strain but where im at anything killer just got labeled "skunk" back in the day even when its clearly not that

'Crippy' is a term used for street weed,
its origin comes from Colombia Southamerica,
In fact, that country is where it is manufactured,

It is normal hybrid weed (not colombia landrace, meybe Skunk/Indica type)but it is "pressed" sometimes pure sometimes with extra products, usually solvent, so the bricks are harder and the effect is also increased.

In Paraguay, similar techniques were also used but the name was different, and the solvent too,
it was known as 'Prensado' /'Paragua' because it came from Paraguay country ,90'-2000 more active narc, today colombia is n°1,
Before growing I smoked "paragua" sometimes and there were very decent ones, today I wouldn't smoke anything crippy ,even free

To this day on the southamerica street the "crippy" is heard a lot and the "Paragua" is already extinct,

so i think the releationship can be atlantic coast Florida/Miami/USA with Colombia narcotrafic
