55 and overcast today. we had some bad storms move through last night. we gorged ourselves on the korean meatballs last night; one of my favorite dishes at the moment as i've made them three times in the past month.
Started going through the Wedding Cake bits that I cut down 5 days ago as I noticed that they were smelling of hay. Cooler is 60*, 40% humidity and I had good luck with the last run on a 7 day dry in the cooler, then trimming over a couple of days, putting in grove bags at the end for curing. Annnnyway this is what I found:

I went through the rest with a fine tooth comb i.e. my granny glasses and a ring light and it seems the issue is just this one cola. I'll continue trimming today and see if there's more. The only thing different is the fact all the bud is in a drying rack vs strung up. Has anyone else had issues with a drying rack? It's a vivosun brand. Funny I just picked it up last week on a whim from my local grow shop because I wanted to throw some money at them. I didn't *need* one. Should I pull everything else that's in there out? Is it not a good method for drying bigger pieces?
Here's a close up of my Bear Assed Monkey. She's coming down on Sunday.

Boo! That sucks, I use a drying rack as well. Are you moving the buds around every couple days.

walk-in cooler. it's 4'x8'x7', with a window a/c unit connected to a coolbot that keeps the temp steady at 60*. the humidity is on the low end, and it ranges from 40-45%. airflow is decent; a flame flickers heavily but doesn't extinguish. the airflow is from the a/c unit but i could also put a fan in; there's plenty of room and outlets.

my first plant ever dried in there was crispy after 11 days. so the next three plants i did the method mentioned in the other post; pulled them at 5-7 days, kept them in a loosely-covered bowl for a couple of days as i trimmed them and that worked a charm. as i'm on day 5 since cutting the WC, i decided to pull it out and start trimming. in a jar after one hour the humidity read 68% so i moved forward with the trimmers and a cup of coffee. 'bout did a spit-take when i saw the mold. now i'm wondering if i need to move everything from the drying rack, as i have the oreoz in one section and the rest of the WC in a different one. the moldy cola was in a separate section.

Oh lol I was thinking like a Yeti cooler. That sounds like a sweet setup! I doubt that's your problem.

I would definitely give the drying rack a solid cleaning before putting any bud in there.

It couldn't hurt to have a little air flow just not pointing on buds just point down
