All good bud thank you , filled half a bin bag with leaves couldn’t bring myself to look in the tent for a couple of days after lol
It's certainly not done any harm they're looking great.
Nice compact plants for that stage of flowering, did you do anything to keep them short like that or is it genetics?

Mostly genetics mate - think also defol slowed stretch down as they hadn’t quite finished stretch when I went all Edward Scissorhands on them ….
That's ideal mate, i've also found defoliation help with stretch.

I started to defoliate any faster growing one's during stretch, this was my 1st full on attempt.

The blueberry lemon shake up were more sativa leaning and the star dream more indica leaning so I defoliated the blueberry lemon su.

I was damn pleased with the effects it had so I've continued using it to help maintain the canopy level.

Fair play mate - got some chunks in there , never been a fan of defoliation tbh but after seeing how fast they recovered I’m leaning towards it’s got its place. Do you defol wk 6 ish or just let them be ? Half my tent is c99 crosses which I was most concerned about as never grown them before so didn’t know how they would cope getting beat up , the others have grow multiple times and I know there stress limits .

Normally I'd let them run after the stretch phase but there's at least once I defoliated about 15/20% mid way and got a great harvest + it lowered the humidity to within acceptable, yeah its a useful tool to have in the box :weed:

Got issues!!
So im on day 30 of flower. Iv got yellowing leaves falling off. Its strarted with the older leaves but is slowly spreading up and out as iv noticed the edges/tips of leaves starting to turn. Im using the full selection of biobizz products and following the chart for light mix.
From my research its one of 3 things.

Overwatering? I feed them every 3 days as per the chart. Although i have left it 4 days to see if it helps. Pots were pretty dry to me and im using fabric pots. I have since given them a small feed.

Underwating? Again as per chart.

Nitrogen issues? Personally i think this is the problem.

If it were just a few of the older more mature leaves it wouldnt bother me, thats not the case though. I seem to have a lot of yellowing leaves.
The chart says to switch up the fish mix for biogrow from 12/12. Do you think it would be a good idea to use some fish mix with the next feed to boost nitrogen levels?

Any advice is appreciated✌
U are following the chart rule one dont ul use to much and cause lock out if u do i use biobizz have for years you have to be sure to give them grow and bloom all through till last few weeks your over feeding and over watering for sure dont feed every time every second day at most and let the soil dry a bit screw what they say i know what works lol

Ive always topped several times and defoilated indoors bud ime it dont harm em any unless you take most of it and anything with any vigour bounces back fast enough i wouldnt outdoors but cleaning em up a bit indoors is needed especially if space is tight even more so

Im sticking to the chart mate 100%. I agree it appears to be over overfeeding/watering. Would you recommend phd waterflush once they dried out or should i crack on with the feed chart. Also how often do you use calmag? Iv been using 0.5ml/1ltr every feed for preventative measures. Thanks for your input, i appreciate it.

I use it like once or twice a week calmag wise as for flushing it a lil u could to be safe if u wanna first off flush with a solution of grow with like 0.2 ml in it first then flush with plain water flushing with quarter strength feed first helps move it along i use there all mix tho but i use seedling compost as a starter layer for seedlings and all mix in the rest of the pots so my top layer be similiar to there light mix i wouldnt ph the water but i know my ph ranges of my water already the whole point in organics is no need to ph or check ec and all that its not hydro things take time to break down and be available and stuff

That sounds reasonable enough to me, il do that. My water here ph is 7.5 by the time iv added everything its pretty much at 6.5 anyway.
Iv taken a few pictures of the yellowed leaves with the light off. Iv since removed all the dead leaves. Iv left the pots dry right out so theyl need something tomorrow. Upper leaves seem ok tbh. The yellowing has seemed to slow so i must have fed too much. It saves me a defoliating job anyway. Live and learn ay. Thanks for your advice ;)20240412_135039.jpg20240412_135051.jpg

some sheep got into our property and consumed most of my plants once, but it did them more good then bad. i used to be horified at ppl defoliating like they do, but after that, im all turned around on it,
