it works!!!! wooooooo hoooooooo.

total cost was $375. shop time here in town is $125 an hour. i would guess this would be a 3 to 4 hour job at a shop. so whatever 125 X 3 to 4 is is how much i saved. plus they alwasy throw in extra fees. they charge $25 to dump the old gear oil. fuck all that. i take mine to the recycle station for free.

i prefer specialty shops to do the tricky or important stuff. this way i have a warranty. :)

lmao...glad to hear your up and running. once those little plastic inserts fall off its all downhill from there. At least it bound up on you early enough so you didn't trash the whole tranny. Alot guys out there don't know when to stop trying to drive it.

that's a really good point. if an end of one would have broken off, even just a little piece, it would have been toast. :shock:


it's supposed to start raining and my buddy has a new truck so he wants to go play in the mud. lets see if he'll actually go though. :-|
