Gotta finally hookup the nano controller and test out the arrays on my new over volted ultrasonic acoustical cannabis seed levitator project, and make sure all 72 transducers are in phase with the correct polarity. What are the odds I got them all soldered in correctly? :eyesmoke:

Nice ,i reckon i saw something awhile ago about this but in a slightly different setup .
Nice little project keep me posted .
3d printed i see ;)

I might even achieve levitation before the nights over, if all works out. I'm doing a lot of custom mods to the circuit right now (adding a better potentiometer to the step up converter/etc), and still gotta figure out what kind of housing or robotic like armature to mount it all up to. Gonna be pushing like 20+ volts into the little H bridge driver (acting as an amplifier for the arrays), so figure I needed to upgrade to a bigger better heatsink. They didn't even use thermal compound on the stock sink, and I'm all out of the paste.. so have to scrape some up off an old processor or something.

I'm making the optional BigLEV model

My goal is to levitate a seed, and possibly germinate it in mid air. Using a nozzle to mist it with fog or something, as droplets would gets sucked up into the other nodes.. Oh, and other stuff, like cannabis meristem tissues, or mushroom LC drops/mycelium chunks/etc.

One of these days I'll get around more to making syphons and other hydro stuff. I got a brand new 4 tier flood and drain rack that I haven't even cut holes in the pallet rack flood trays yet, thinking i might want to try that route instead..

Im part way through making an inmoov robot thats open source, its fully articulated and can see and hear and talk. 20230909_102313.jpgThey are still working on functional legs that can walk and balance

I'm looking at a sonic *ultrasonic homogenizer for rapid onset/offset of edibles
We are all
I love pot

Any updates ?

Yeah but not the update I was hoping for. I had got everything all wired up for the first initial test, but somethings whacky with it, lol. Its like.. only one side of the array works right (or not, , and is getting warm?), and the other side is at half power. Or vice versa, not sure yet. Anyway I have to go through and recheck a bunch of stuff, possibly resolder EVERYTHING..

This time I'm gonna use my scope, or a new multimeter that my son hasn't got ahold of :wall:.... and not the sketchy arduino program with serial plotter for marking the correct polarity of the tranducers like the instructions call for. I haven't tried using different power suppliesyet, or bypassing the step up buck converter to see if its the problem. The H bridge driver itself seems to output the correct frequency and voltage on one channel, but only half power from the other. MAybe I need to power the arduino seperately with its own 5v supply, and skip using the onboard regulator..

I did get one tiny bit of foam to levitate for a few seconds as is, but only just outside of the device, and not in the focal point where the strongest standing wave nodes should be.. Anything I try to place in the correct places get launched away from the arrays, and starts spinning around on the table next to it. Including a mosquito that flew by..

I got a gremlin..
