Thanks for replying promptly, so I have these pics I just took. Would I need to take it apart or so?Each case would be different, there won't be an ABC guide to it. The old driver would need to be inspected as would the connections.
Most likely it would involve matching wire to wire connections, pcb headers and maybe a little desolder/soldering.
There are quite a few guys on here that have done repairs like this many times and could talk you through it.
We would need some good pics of the driver and electical connection points.

Good point, if you open that box and take the dimmer wires off that could be one of the issues. A short would cause the light to stay off, leave the wires open would run the light at 100%.look for dimmer, follow cord and see if u can override it.

Dan helped me get my first cob in 2016 great guyMaybe owner of timber coild give ya a suggestion what to do, that’s a fairly new unit being the strips just a few years ago max.
one of my timber cob versions failed but when talking to dan he asked me to unhook the dimmer, bam the light worked at 100%, dimmer was easy fix and no soldering
owner of timber has a new led company and I’m sure he will try to give ya a good tech support and input
