It’s a beautiful day out, and many of my peppers are just right for harvesting next years seeds, so I’m keeping busy taking turns smoking and picking.

A few peppers ready for seeding and spreading out to dry.

Now back to work. I have hot sauce to make and brisket to smoke.
Do you ever preserve them by dehydration? I'd love to freeze dry some and try them, beautifully done.

Yea once you get that down you can create anything that comes to mind. Took CAD in school, loved it, making designs. Love to see some stuff you end up doing.
Hopefully I'll be at that point fairly soon. It's pretty easy to find things to print so right now I've downloaded a planetary gear set that I've resized to 1/2 scale to learn the ins and outs of 3D printing. There is a lot more to learn about creating gears than I imagined.

I can't wait, I bet you'll love it! Then you'll be teaching us all how to make freeze dryers for $99.99 LOL. I love my Koolatrons.
I have looked into diy freeze driers don’t get me wrong, there’s not an easy way, it’s cheaper to get a harvest right.

I’m looking for a great idea though, anyone who knows how to make a diy freeze dryer let me know.
