Moving a plant indoors after flower.

The one on the right had purple buds as soon as it started flowering. I'd like to bring it indoors for re-veg. Should I wash out the roots and transplant to coco or just dig it out and drop it in a pot as is? I've re-vegged before, but not from outdoors. If anybody has experience with this let me know.

Only germinated in Aug. The pics are from this morning, after the first frost.
The two are supposed to be the same strain. Huckleberry soda. got 5 seeds, one died and the other two are still vegging indoors. In veg they all look the same.

It's always risky to upset the outdoor balance by bringing a plant inside. Most would strongly advise against it. E.g., you can have spider mites and not know it because the soldier bugs eat them, but when inside the soldier bugs can't get to them and now all your other plants (cannabis and non) also have spider mites.

I often take cuttings from outdoor plants, but I spray them off first, submerge them in water, inspect them carefully (loupes work here), then keep the cloner quarantined until I am sure they're good.

If I had to do what you were doing, I would cut it back to almost nothing, treat it heavily with IPM tactics, quarantine it (esp. from pets), wrap the soil/pot in plastic, then still be careful.

I have straight brought a plant in and gotten lucky. I have also gotten fucked out of four months of work and growing time.

Oh I know the scourge of spider mites LOL. Last time I had them I just stopped growing indoors for 2 years. This plant won't be going near my grow room. It'll go in the basement with a pepper plant. I cut the buds and left it in the ground. not supposed to freeze again for a couple days.left it in the ground for tonight. Any signs of spider mites and they'll be set on fire.

Do not recommend, succsess stories of bring outdoor plant inside are few and far between, horror storys are common.
How big is she? Small enough to build a cold frame around her to keep her warm? Close enough to a power source that you can put a lamp in with it to stimulate the reveg?
Are your winters mild enough for that?

It's just 2 or 3 inches now. I'm in Atlantic Canada. No frost til now is a small miracle in itself. though that frame thing might be something I can do. First thing that came to mind is a barrel. I dunno I'll look it up. Only needs to go back to veg, then grow a little so I can cut clones. from my experience takes a month or so to start growing again, then 2 or 3 weeks. it might be possible if weather cooperates. I do have an old 600w HPS for light and heat. You've given me something to think about.
