Def the premier entry in the WTF??!? category (based on E1)

Bareback - I’m still new to watching weekly releases…but I don’t currently have access to the blocks of time I used to have for watching, so I feel some of your pain…

Finished S3 opener for Re:Zero…damn, *that’s* a jumpstart
I’m a recent new comer to binge watching. As a 55 year old construction worker, I’ve started having more and more repetitive motion injuries. I discovered binge watching is a pretty good way to to rehab a sore back or shoulder, with a season or more of something with a contentious story it’s easier to sit still. Boredom and channel surfing just makes me stir crazy, it’s not that I really want to watch tv with all my spare time but it’s almost necessary…..and to be honest….I’ve enjoyed a lot of the anime, especially the adult rated stuff.

that what i do mostly on the weekends now, i work 50hrs a week, so it's nice to prop my feet up and kick back for a bit, i'll start watch the new ones on Saturday and then i'll binge on a sunday with old ones i've watch to see if they went Dub or not. I've been watching Anime since the late 80's and early 90's, comic book shops were the best at finding them....

I just finished scavenger’s reign . I kinda wish there was a season 2 . Very cerebral, I definitely think the writers/animators has done some serious acid trips maybe shrooms or smoked some toad juice or buttons…… hell maybe all at once. I just know that if ever take another trip I’m for sure watching it again.

Also been trying to watch “ Komi can’t communicate “ they talking about social anxieties and other anxieties and I’m having anxiety just listening to them.

my place was called the Den, old comic book shop in the late 80's early 90's before they were swallowed up.
Fry’s was a big ‘Walmart for geeks’ out of CA…started mostly computer parts, computers & related gear, expanded to other areas, like DVD & home-entertainment: their anime aisle was more impressive than their movie aisle

Their entry into general appliances kinda killed them

Overlord is a nice grab.....they have 3 seasons...and i think there is a season 4 coming out soon.....

i saw the first season of Arcane when i had netflicks, but since i don't have that anymore i haven't kept up, personally i thought i was done very nicely, animation, action sequences and the such.....

this last weekend the wife caught be binging on Wistoria Dub....still think that's a good story and nicely done

CR continues to transfer the Funi IP

Latest examples include Grimgar: Ashes & Illusions, which is a truly unique take on the isekai troposphere

Also, Kizumonogatari - which is part one of the three-part origin story of the whole infamous Monogatari genre. Up ‘til now, I’d only ever seen it on Amazon. Opinions differ on where to start watching that behemoth, but the beginning is a very good place to start…I just never wanted to rent it, tho.

Standouts for the fall season:
Do-Over Damsel
The Most Notorious Talker
The Healer Who Was Banished

Coming up in January:
Solo Leveling 2
Dr. Stone: SCIENCE FUTURE

CONTINUING:
Shangri-La Frontier S2
Re:Zero S3

Happy holidays, y’all!
