Why America Must Prosecute War Crimes

I agree with GrowRebel, and I think you'll find most people in the world outside the USA agree.

The Bush Administration has waged 2 illegal wars, both started under false pretences.

The greatest Irony of all is how this is hailed as a 'War on TERROR!!'.

TERROR is 100,000 dead Iraqis.
TERROR is Millions of people in poverty due to your EXPLOITATION.
TERROR is fearing that your DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED leaders will be taken out by a Foreign Power for not complying with American globalization.
TERROR is supporting the Isreali decimation of Gaza.

The list of Crimes your country has commited and continues to commit is too long to put in a single post.

Every single one of you who does not stand up against these injustices is to blame.

Agreed, Bush and everyone that followed those orders or even those that turned a blind eye need to be prosecuted. There was no excuse for this, there never is, and we cannot just let this slide.

And I sure hope Obama doesn't pardon any of them before they have served at least a few years. Presidents are too quick to pardon eachother.

you know, charles manson never actually killed anyone. he wasn't even present at the murder scenes. he masterminded it all though. EVERYONE involved went to prison.

I agree that a FEW and VOCAL foreign countries don't agree with our foreign policies concerning 9/11 post on... not surprising at all. However i am more concerned about our national well being than popularity with a few malcontent govt's. It's a rough and tumble world and everybody want s their slice.... and that is what drives popular opinion....domestic and foreign.

You'll also find that a most of the malcontents were quite happy with the saddam "oil For food program".... just follow the money and you will find foreign policy decisions.

I think we need to look to stabilizing the economy before we think of new ways to spend a bunch of money. People are still losing jobs left and right. If no one is working, who's going to pay for this investigation and trial?

I agree the economy is job one, then ending the tyranny implanted by bush around the world, but a trial would not be that expensive, in fact we should just ship them off to the hague and let them cover the expenses. I'm pretty sure the rest of the world would pony up to see justice served.

I understand economy is a very important issue. I think the cost of persecuting these war crimes would be alot cheaper and a more permanent fix than the bandaids that get thrown on for temporary stop of bleeding. If you would put the knife down already there would be no need for bandaids. I would be nice to follow the money to something like this as opposed to what it leads to know.

They can't get a fair trial here anyway, (more accurately we couldn't get a fair prosecution) you'd have to ship them off to face international courts.

People all over the world would be celebrating... Maybe we could see him hang like saddam since people died (were tortured to death).

Then toss him to the wolves, whatever it takes.

I know, we can make him live in Iraq for the rest of his life. According to him the war is won, so why can't he go live there?

if it's an "illegal war" then every single soldier needs to be prosecuted for accessory to murder. there is NO draft. these are all volunteers.
Only if they knew they were following illegal orders ... I'd much rather see the people that authorized the war prosecuted ... it's the big fish we need to fry ...

They will not be prosecuted as I stated earlier. It would mean that dem's have somehow donned the mantle of a principled party which it is clearly not. No, they will take the politically expedient tactic of moving forward while keeping political bullets in the ammo belt if they get into trouble economically, which they will. That handwriting on the wall is being inked in as we post.

Prosecution is no longer up to congress ... it will be an outside force that will do it ...

It's such a simple concept ... I'm shocked :oat the number of people that simply don't get it ... it's like they are not evolved enough spiritually to know this is against Universal Law ... as long as it's not them on the receiving end of the suffering all's fair ... is it time for american idol yet?
Thanks for chiming in and letting the folks at home see there are some people that do get it ...

You make it soooo easy ...
Survey shows U.S. standing around world at new low
In a poll he said he helped conduct for BBC World Service, the United States was found to have a mostly negative influence in 20 of 26 countries surveyed.
So I guess since in your weird view 20 is a "FEW and VOCAL" what are the 6? ..... oh yeah ... a lot! Bwaa ha ha ha ... you guys are stupid funny like your ex leader bush ...
...any of you folks at home remember the scene in Star Wars ... the first one with the new actors ... Obe One tried telling JaJa's people the planet and it's people where all connected ... same concept ... so how the world view the US is an important factor ... especially since we must work together ...
... and as far as following the money for the oil for food ... it will lead you to several countries including the US ... so what foreign policy got the US involved?:spew:out:-P

Yes, we should worry about other countries negative impressions of us....not.

This is all hot air and I love that you find it comforting to vent. It helps keep the fringe element together as Obama strides away from you.

The big sin against Bush by the Squirrel left is that he actually won the war. The left would have given up long before. Now the Squirels feel emboldened by a Dem win......again into the chasm dear Squirrels...... it happens every time......how many feet can you shoot and still be able to shuffle off with after?

I hope this gets CENTER STAGE....... I would LOVE for that to happen. Let's bring the Squirrels into the light of truth for all to see their nuttiness. Then we can fold you away for another 25 years.

I hope the media picks up your cause in a BIG way........ you deserve it, you really do....

I am so going to enjoy these next four years.....

Yes ... well ... it's obvious you simply can't comprehend the importance of how the world views us ... no surprises there ...

Bwaa ha ha ha bush won the illegal war ... now that's funny! ... so if bush won the illegal war why are our troops still there ... still dying? ...
US military deaths in Iraq war at 4,229
And this figure folks are just those soldiers that die in action ... it doesn't give the number of soldiers that died on route to the hospital or those that die later as a result of their wounds or those that died in non combat situations ... so that number is a lot higher ... they just don't want you to know that ... :fire:

why are people still dying? ... oh I know now ... because nobody told them bush won the war!:spew:
Six killed in Iraqi attack

Mayport sailor pleads guilty to beating Iraqi detainee

Iraqi refugees face uncertain future

Like I said before ... some people just aren't spiritually evolved enough to comprehend why this is wrong ... these war criminal must be held accountable otherwise it make "we the people" look as though we accept that certain leaders are above the Law/law and they are not ...
Thanks for commenting ...

Those that are against the prosecution of the Bush regime must have a personal interest in the outcome, otherwise why would they cringe so much when the subject is brought up. It is well within the constitution to prosecute those that hold office and break the law. What's that they say in the presidential acceptance oath, "defend the constitution"? Well Bush and his cronies failed to do that and in point of fact, went out of their way to destroy it.

Our veterans throughout history have given their lives to fight for the ideals that make this country special. They fought and died to stop opressive governments who lied to it's polulation and made victims of their citizens. Fought and died to stop governments that sponsored torture... There is no price higher than the lives lost to get to our ideals and by ignoring what has happened we disonor ourselves and all veterans who ever served. It basically makes their deaths and sacrifices worthless when we turned out as evil as the evil we supposedly conquered.
