seems like it should do as long as the lights r off at night so the light doesnt leak in
post harvest comment, yeah, I agree with that...
heres some new pics of my plants still flowering with bikeskill's chemdog. my AK is lookin fire, my other indica is catching up, and my two sativas look like they have some kind of disease in the leaves or something. sativas are a bitch to grow inside. also, some pics of a bit of chemdog drying. COMMENTS AND SUGGESTIONS ARE WELCOME DON'T BE SCARED.
sweet grow. thanks again for stoppin by my journal. too bad you had to move your grow, I think it would have been nicer with your set up, imo. but turned out fine, none the less.
heres some new budshots taken with my girl's Nikon D80. the plant with the most trics is the AK47, the next best looking plant is some bagseed indica. the other 2 are bagseed sativas and they have some major problem. i think it may be toxic salt build up but i dont really care because a friend is taking care of them so i cant really baby them and try to fix them. in the last pic you can see how nasty the sativas look. if those 2 even finish i think they are just gonna go to some butane hash. ENJOY. COMMENTS WELCOME!!!!!!!!!!
yer gf's camera rocks...bet the amature porn pics rock too, LOL!
next time, a flush would have cleared up any nute lock caused by salts build up...just for future fyi.
i had them from a long time ago, but i got them from home depot. i just recently went to get another one from HD and they were sold out, just look in the lighting/electrical section, look for switches and outlets they should be around there. or just ask someone who works there who speaks english.
lol, I live in Japan...no one speaks english at my HD equivelent...and I don't speak Japanese well enough, hahaha.
The buds in those harvest pics look fluffy. I think you're missing one of the 17 elements. Besides that, they look great!
naw, it was just cuz of the cfls and maybe the color temp of them also...they look around 2700-3000k, 2300-2100 may have improved bud density, imo. or a few more of those 70w HPS to replace those cfls, but then more heat would have been created...all in all, a splendid job!
wtf............. r u serious?
actually, crinkled foil, with cfls will do a great job, without heatspots...cuz the 'crinkling' will difuse the light quite well, fact.
and...
I have to say, Cardboard is a HUGE NO NO. Humidity is relative, it doesnt matter what the humidity is outside or inside. Humidity goes up or down depending on TEMP, when the temp changes and humidity goes down, it SOAKS INTO ANYTHING IT CAN...blah, blah, blah...
Other then it being in a cardboard box, they are looking Great man!!
Very nice work, I would just hate to see it all be ruined by mildew and mold.
Anyways good luck.
your paint job, I was thinking since the very beginning of the thread, and the intake/exhaust system, is quite fine protection against humidity build up and, susequencely, mold/mildew, imo. protecting the 'cardboard' just fine. not to directly contradict this poster, just stating my opinion.
you connect the wires from the fan to a 12volt AC to DC converter i got 2 from radioshack you just connect the wires and plug it in. no nutes in the beginning but after about 2 weeks started with B.C. technaflora nutes used about 1 gal of veg formula then switched to flowering. i dont really like these nutes, i wont be using them again.
you can also connect those fans to a cell phone charger. this is very cheap when using old cell phone chargers, that aren't being used anymore, cuz you, or whoever, just got a new cell and the chargers seldom fit the new models, which came with it's own charger anyway...
and it's real easy, just cut the phone end off, strip all wires, connect them up(it don't matter which wire to which), plug it in and away it goes.
anyone like the harvest?......................
yup, I sure do! +rep to you dude.
I know this grow is done but I thought since the inside was painted white, it created a water seal which would prevent the inside of the box from absorbing moisture.
It is a great idea. I'd paint the inside white, let dry and add another coat, let dry again and line all the walls and ceiling with mylar.
yup, yup, yup! what you said friend...but, imo, the lining ain't really necessary...
Great Job, Florida...lookin forward to your future grows.
and there's another bump for ya, LOL!
