Yup I buried mine deeper and she turned out to grow short and stout with the cfl lights closeWhen the plants get a little hardy you can bury them deeper
well they are in rockwool, i dont wan to mess with them unless i realy have too,When the plants get a little hardy you can bury them deeper
the bulbs i got are phillips enerhy savers,The 6500 kelvin(blue light) Cfl's are the best for seedlings.
if your running compact flourescents, they should be no more than 4" away from the plant. the only way your allowed to get away with that is because cfl's are a lot cooler running bulbs then anything else.can to much light cause stretching ?
and they have been about 10 inches from the lights/ reflector.
should i put them higher, like 2 inches ?
Yes that is true Put tape around the cups or put the cups in something opaque.AAAHHHHHHH!!!!!! cover those clear plastic cups!!!! your letting light in on your roots
