I'm modifying my case today to make it more quiet and more light proof.
I'm testing fans too.

Thanks man!! Yeah, I think I'll be lucky if I get 5 grams... but I'm pretty sure next time will be a lot better!!! I'm having a LOT more airflow now, should keep inside about 4-5 degrees above outside, maybe less... I'm testing it!Those are some beautiful little buds bro...dunno how much you will get this grow, but the box is awesome and with some experience behind your belt you will be able to do well with that setup.
hey where did you get your noctua fans at and how much were they?I think the most quiet fans are Noctua. Amazing airflow. Silenx was as quiet as the Noctua, but Noctua is killing Silenx with AirFlow!
Pretty simple, the holes in my wood panel are a perfect fit for the sockets I had... I'm pretty sure you could get them at Home Depot. They're like rubber made. Look at this picture:BUT......... how do you hook up those fluorescent lights??? I got a few at home, but i have no bulb plugs or anything like that...
Well... I'm from Canada, so I bought one on NCIX.COM at like 16$. But I found cheaper ones on DirectCanada.com they are like 12$. It's worth it... I'm planning on buying some more to replace all fans with NOCTUA. Don't get SilenX, they cost more and have less airflow... I think NOCTUA is the best fan around... I've made lots of research about silent fans... if you find a more quiet fan, let me know!hey where did you get your noctua fans at and how much were they?
Because of the rubber material on the socket, there is no way it could heat up the wood to start a fire! I didn't even had to glue them, only by pressure they are super tight in the holes I made. FInally I'm using only one socket with the 42Watts... but I could be using 2 X 23 watts of different colors(6500K and 2600K)oh so that socket doesnt get that heated? It looks good how you did this and i have read all through this thread but i still cant manage to get the best materials. Lights just baffle my head!!
Start a thread with pictures of your project, I wanna see it!oh i see.. thanks ill have to get my tools out tomorrow
Things are looking good with your grow though, keep it up.
Hey I might even used an old cabinet or a cardboard box. I heard you can use a cardboard box just as good as anything else..
But yeah ill add those pics up as soon as these bitch ass seeds germinate!!!
Smells great when I open the case. I can't smell a thing at the exhaust though... those carbon filter sheets works great!shes lookn good man, hows she smell ?
