I just put the lowryder#2 in my little grow box with 11 26W CFL's, Its getting a little hot in there even with the exaust computer fan in there, Should I take them out? The soil in warm to the touch, the CFLS are like 4 or so inches away from the CFL's.

Should I just wait till I get some intake fans? Put them outside for now?

so far for outdoors I got Mazar-I-Sharif, and Sativa seeds "sativa slang" I also got lowryder#2, and I dunno what im gonna do with them ,leaning towards outdoors though.

Looking good. They are probably just growing slow above ground but building roots quick underground. Sprout, first few sets of leaves, roots, then crazy vegging action.

Looking good. I'm very interested in how the Lowryder #2 turns out. Wanted to try grow some this year but didn't have the $ to buy the seeds. Next year hopefully!

Got a variety of mixed seeds. Few from friends and others from bags.

Got a shit ton of seeds from my hermied trainwreck so I'm planning on a separate plot for those seeds to keep possible hermies away from my other crop.

Just adopted a few good looking girls from a friend, got some Maui DOG Diesel in that bunch so i'm stoked on that.

Shooting for 1 lb+ this long season.

I got (2) ultra haze clones on the mountain but got ( rooting so (10) total by friday. Sativas should grow good even in this shitty sun right? often do you water them?

I Just hiked in my first bits of soil, and damn was it hell. As if hiking without 30 pounds of soil on your back wasnt bad enough. I have to hike down into a valley, then back up onto the ridge where my grow is, it is freakin hell man! I was disappointed to find that my soil only filled up 2 of my holes, and I have about 15 plants to get into the ground!!!! Its going to be a lot of work, and hiking all that soil/water in without being detected is going to be VERY hard, but hey its not like anyone grows guerilla on oahu anyway, now I Know why haha!

I figured im gonna be hiking in a lot of soil, and a lot of water, time to get my legs nice and strong.

Relentlessly Murdered by slugs


I came to my plants this morning only to find them eaten, by slugs, I was so upset and I still am. I am really REALLY fortunate that my dear lowryder#2's werent hurt as badly as the Mazar-I-Sharifs though.

All of the Mazars/1 Lowryder#2 were eaten down to the stem, nothing left, except for one Mazar, who probably wont live, they only left him with one beaten leaf. Also one lowryder#2 was seriously injured, both leaves chomped on.

I lost all 5 of my newley planted Mazars to the slugs, poor guys.

In honor of the lost Lowryder#2 and Mazars, I planted a 2 week old indica dominant Mazar, whom ive named "shorty" in the dead lowryder#2 pot, who I wont let die!!!!

Shit sorry to hear bout your girls Grassified. Slugs are bitches when i comes to young plants. Safer's Insect Killing Soap with Seaweed Extract seemed to do the trick for me.

Hope the rest of your girls make it. Maybe letting them get bigger before putting them out to your plot? Once they get past a month old and get 5+ sets of leaves then they usually can handle the slugs.

I am starting my first OUTDOOR grow ever in hawaii, I have grown some bagseed indoor before. But now im getting a little more serious.

So far I got 10 Sativa Slang seds and 5 freebie "mazar-i-sharif" seeds.

I am going to germinate them in 2 weeks after putting them through the banana method. This is where I put the seeds with a banana peel in a ziploc bag for 2 weeks. Supposedly the ethelyne gas the rotting banana puts off will feminize my seeds.

I am going to be digging 5 galon deep holes in the ground, and filing them with a mixture of perilite, peat moss, potting soil, soil condiitoner, 16-16-16 all purpose fertilizer, blood meal, and the surounding clay-ish soil.

My arsenal also includes some fish emulsion, and some superthrive

I am going to be growing in the great outdoors. My biggest challange throughout this whole thing would have to be haulng all my supplies up tothe grow sit without detecton! I have to unload my supplies and hike them up from a residential location. thinking about using a hiking backpack and just loading a ton of my soil mixture in there and hiking it in.

Ill be posting more pics of my grow plot ect soon, gonna take another hike up there today to start preparing the soil (aka digging holes)


ANY advice at all pertaining to anything I am doing during this grow is highly welcomed.
