they are growing slow cause you are using flowering lights instead of the daylight light for vegging. cant believe no one noticed. you should use some floros in 6500k

ok so if ur floor is cold wouldnt that mean that its highly reflective and doesnt absorb the heat/light and if u add something that will got warm wouldnt that be taking away from the lighting and allowing more the be absorbed from places other than the plants

It's really the fact that the concrete is in a large garage and the cold is transferring from outside the grow room. The amount of heat it would take to warm a concrete floor is immense.

They may be growing "slower" because im not using a MH bulb (which im ordering, by the way) but my HPS should be fine for veg.. Shouldn't be this slow.

You would assume its reflective because it doesnt asborb heat but when the lights are on at night the floor is already damn near freezing.

well not if the hood your using is air-cooled.

are your ballast switchable? Or are you buying a conversion bulb?

The ballast will run both HPS and MH, but all I can seem to find is 600w conversion bulb.
I might just veg with a 400w MH which in return will probably be better then my 600w and cheaper for veg.

I just found some pics from a previous grow. These were @ 5 weeks of flowering. I only vegged these 6 days from clones and then switched to 12/12. Harvested after 7 weeks flowering so the entire grow took just under 8 weeks. I had 6 plants under a single 250w HPS light using ebb & flow...You would REALLY like hydro...haha
