A resource-based economy. People grow their own food, cleanse their own water, etc. Money is backed by an 'empty' promise, and nothing more. Gold, silver, etc. have intrinsic value.

The economy won't necessarily "recover". It will be renewed. A new economic system that can support every nation that wants to be a part of it. With this will come national ID cards, then eventually microchips. It's a slow process that has many steps. It use to be hard to follow but now they are just throwing everything out like it's too late for us to do anything.
