See.. I am a dummy.. that is so obvious now...
I use 185 gallon per hour pump for my 4x4 tray...
I would go with something small... maybe just a little bit bigger than the AG water pump...
you want the pump to fill the tray and start overflowing in less than 5 minutes...
Small pump...
But you know where they are, and that is what counts...
Yup.. nifty... huh?!?! pretyy simple how it all works...
Nope.. Al B. Fuct did.. I am too lazy for that..
I still haven't gotten you the drawing.. though I think we are past proving it can be done...lol...
Literally floods.. and drains...lol...
Gravity...
there is no valve or anything... water flow is unrestricted both ways...
and the pump offers a way through when it is off...
so the water pretty much goes back the same way it came...
I use the same cubes as AL...
They weigh dry at 4 grams each... and you dampen them to 25g ~ 30g..
Mine are 1.75" cubes i think...
no need for more Rockwool... you only need it for the rooting part...
Al fills the whole pot with RW, but he can only flood once a day... so hydroton is more productive...
Al's RW potful will hold water for a day or so if the pump fails... but we keep an eye on things..
I rather have bigger buds...
nana ni na NO!
No netpots allowed...
Solid pots with holes on the bottom...
Trust me on this one...
There are pages and pages of reference as to why...
No netpots ... you hear...????
Nice.. now you need to make sure you will not cook the clones...
let me know when it's time to move on and start talking about cloning...
I think you have this part down yeah?
