Strain for anxiety problems

This may come off as weird but I was just wondering is there such a strain out there that will not cause anxiety? I know a few people who quick smoking because the green would send their heart racing and cause anxiety attacks. I sometimes get them and sometimes dont and it would depend on the weed. So I figured maybe there is such a strain out that wont cause it.

So if anyone experienced something similar of this nature and managed to continue smoking let me know? :eyesmoke:

I believe that each person is affected differently by strains. What may be an alright buzz to one person, may be a total couchlock to someone else. You do build tolerance to it over time.

That being said... I like Strawberry Cough for a mellow, nonpanic high. No, it doesn't taste like strawberry, but is a nice pinkish/purplish color when it matures.

there was a thread like this a couple weeks ago and i believe the verdict was to get a pure indica strain. I remember it being said that sativa strains are the ones that make you panic like that.

These are some strains that people from surveys have found helps with anxiety. These are far from all the strains that will help, just what people who responded to the survey found effective. You will no doubt find many other strains that work well and some of these might not work well for you:

Anxiety: Purple Kush, Trainwreck, Nevles Haze, Diesel, Blueberry, Bubblegum, Big Bang, Bog Sour Bubble, Haze (most strains), Firecracker, Jack Herer, Juicy Fruit, Lolipop, BOG LSD, Super Impact

Anxiety and Depression: Catalyst, Big Laughing, Blueberry, M39, Kali Mist, White Widow, Blue Moonshine, Blue Satellite

Anti Anxiety/Sleep: Blue Moonshine, Jack Herrer, M-39, Herijuana, Blueberry

Sleep & General Relaxation:
Sonoma Coma, Lifesaver, Blueberry, Matanuska Thunder Fuck, XXX, Legends Ultimate Indica, Sensi Star

Social Anxiety:
Romulan, NL#5, Hindu Kush, OG Kush, Bubba Kush, Big Laughing, Blueberry, Kali Mist
.

.

"Romulan: Pleasant slight mental high. *Great painkiller*/minor muscle relaxant. Aided sleep. My heart doesn't race at all on this stuff! Apparently, it has a lower THC content than many, and this may account for it's mellowness. Yeah! It also doesnt make me feel 'stoned' or stupid."

Medicine Man - Mr Nice (White Widow - Greenhouse)
: "I give this a 10 out of 10 for pain control and general anti-anxiety/mood elevation, however, I'd save it for the night- it's not the most motivating thing in the world, although it is possible to become productive if you push yourself enough."

"NY Sour Diesel is excellent for anxiety, as is Bubblegum. SD gives an almost tangible sense of relaxation in the head- it killed a developing migraine before it started."

Me: "Strawberry Cough is an excellent strain for melting existing anxiety or keeping you relaxed. I do not like Dutch Passion's version, too weak and tastes like chemicals, no strawberry taste or smell. Look for a feminized seed from the original clone."

.

Slane both indicas and sativas will work for anxiety. The common though is that a person with anxiety has to be sedated to relieve the anxiety but sometimes we want to go "up steam" as far as possible to treat the root cause and not just be constantly bailing symptoms out of a sinking boat. A good anti-anxiety sativa may effect a part of the brain that is causing your anxiety. And while sativas have a mix of canaboids that work on the mind, indicas may work better for you by times.

Same argument as MS, epilepsy and the horrid shaky leg syndrome.

Works well for water in your basement too. You can constantly pump it out or fix the hole in your roof. And sometimes you gotta pump anyway.

I've got some more stuff on my home computer if you're interested. Look at those strains, if you don't find any you like I'll dig up some more.

As well - buy several strains so you can pick the ones that work best. Single Feminized seeds are great.

Look for strains with a CBD percentage of 1% or higher. That is where your relaxing effects are found. Also make sure that the strain is indica or indica dominant since it is the sativa in strains that causes people to have feelings of anxiety and panic and paranoia.

The strain below is a good option and they are feminized beans and cost $28.10 (USD) for a 5-pack or
$49.18 for a 10-pack. That is a value.

I went to green house and was browsing and saw this in red "We do not send cannabis seeds or grow-info to persons living in the United States." Are they just saying this for security reasons but they do ship with stealth right?

Sorry, my error. I intended to include that you cannot buy directly from Green House if you live in the U.S. and have to purchase from another seedbank.

The prices I gave were found at The Attitude Seeds and you can find them using the link below.
