For dolimite just go to any feed and seed store better yet use the phone save some gas but its simply lime that breaks down faster than plain lime. You cant add it at this point though as the lime is really what takes the longest to break down.ive been letting my soil cook for about three weeks ... but i cant find azomite thraces nor sweet dolomite @ my local head shop... or no where... will this be okay...???

As far as Azomite u can use Fritted trace elements instead from a fish store but here is there website.

Just call and ask for a dist in your area.

Subcool,.. thanks for being such an excellent teacher. I for one have learned a lot. I had a couple of questions if you don't mind.
Do you think the lime may not actually take a lot of time to break down, but is actually combating the pH depression that the breakdown of the organics would cause, and when the pH comes up, it's because the mychorrizae have slowed down and the bulk of the decomposing has finished?
very possible but dolimite breaks down very fast raising the ph that was lowered from all the fertilizers added that are acidic
How many generations do you think on average does it take to produce a stable strain?
Stable strains are a complete myth.
Vortex is a one time cross of two poly hybrids and it is as stable as any strain worked for 2 decades its all according to the genetics of the parents.
thanks,.. again.
Hey Subcool. A priveledge to read from your grows. I got a question. It is rudimentary and probably covered but what would you say is the NPK of your soil?
You have inspired me to go 7 gallon water only grows for my meds. I have been religiously studying npk and have a base so I will understand I hope what you have to say:]
I see you have bone and indo guano and the one nitrogen boost of blood. These NPK ratios would be nice to have. Also do you double up on the P because by the time the plant hits flower the one P portion is used?
I am mostly curious. Also I have found it hard to find the needs of mary janes NPK. The best is a high times article from 03.
Thanks. Lol, water only grows, niiiiiiccccceeeee. I started in hydro.
I guess i just see all those bags of dry tomatoe ferts you can add to soil and am curiuos how yours holds up. ;]
dont these guys publish your work, as well as nominate it for best annually?Dont trust info in HT there clueless for the most part and never checks the facts in there articles.
Yes they publish my work as well as countless others articles and no they dont check factsdont these guys publish your work, as well as nominate it for best annually?
so most of their stuff is jibberish huh, if your an outsider its hard to know what is what around here
love your work
Besides internet forums, who do you think has the best, most current information on growing; books, vids, etc? Not just soil grows either, but organic hydro as well, if you happen to know? Is Rosenthal reliable? Cervantes?Yes they publish my work as well as countless others articles and no they dont check facts
We get nominated alot for top ten as do many of there contributors no one judges the top 10 its more a complimentary award IMO.
HT is a great mag and part of our culture but careful getting grow info from there
