i like 600 watt air cooled lites.1000 wat has near double heat, and down here makes it harder. even if air cooled,,besides the 1000 lites are way over rated.600 cost the same or more, because thier the best way,easy air cooled tomaintain.mine . mine are going crazy now and i drop the lite at 6 inches and the temp at the canopy is 72F.closer is as good as vertical trust that .plus you may need some room to move around huh.this feminized blue cheese i see is the way to go, , i never had plants gettin this size so early , by the ebnd of the day they near doubled from this morning,, the 9-50-30 really did the job,,,, then we'll drop the magnesium levels and get some real purple in the las 2 weex, ,,,,, i see your a brother,lol.

texas her,,lol.Damn made some coffee this morning and accidenly used my diluted beastie bloomz jug, it was dark,fuk..i got a 110 on one..pretty strong , could easily cool two lits,low noise,, the 240s sounds loud i think.Dicount hydro is where i go.. i dont show my face at hydro stores.
maybe i can .if your gonna use co2 you need to use a timer to shut off the regulator every 30 minutes, depleted co2 has to be vented out ,then replenished, then ypour vent fans need a timer to,, otherwise your gonna waste co2 goin out the vent.. personally you can get excellent co2 from outside through the AC. it is always sucking it out through the front ventinhales it and rids it), bringing new in from the main cool.toooo much trouble for me..if you would post on the other Wite russian grow i wood appreciate it , in the bottm there, jus clik on it .,,this one has been dead awile,lol.never feel like you cant ask me anything..i'm posting sunday, warm up the nikon and do some pics at mid flowering .. i amdoing 30 plants 2-600s 16 2gal.containers and 14 3.5 gal. buckets .. 2 lites goin for up to 3 pounds . got near 2 las, didnt even max the area out,lol.hop on.this is my 23rd grow.
Southern- You may want to think about setting up multiple 600 digi balasts instead of 1k's. I have had both in the past and I am currently switching to all 600's. Basicly you get only 10-15 thousand lumens less by using 400 watts less on consumption. That is a huige difference. Sure, 2 600's cost more than 1 1k but if you decided to do 2 1k lights, you could instead do 3 600's and would have many more lumens even though you are at a lower wattage. I have used 40 watts per square foot on my 600's and I have used 50 watts per sq ft on 1k's and noticed no difference in yield watsoever.

also it was brot to my attention that unless your doing a 100plants or more,its a waste of time..also i nenver had loose buds,,under a 600 ,lol. the 600s are definately under rated,.
I've never used 600s, but during the summer I've been awfully tempted to. 1000's definitely put out the light, but without Co2 keeping the room cool enough has always been a challenge, even with a dedicated A/C system. I used two 8 foot light rails for 2 1000 HPS lights over a dozen plants. I would've liked to just run the lights at night, but where I used grow there were occasionally helicopters flying around, and I decided not to take any chances. The layout I had consisted of 4, 4 foot rockwool slabs with 3 plants per slab. System drained into the middle and into the resevoir.
i saw a lite mover on rail,is that wa t you mean,on dicount hydro.com ,,. would think though a stationary lite over sec. wood be better,but dont know.mover wood cover more area at 10 inches avove midflowering plants,,wat do you think?
