Finally worked up the energy to take some new pics, haha..i put em into 12/12 yesterday so itll be good to finally see some bud.

i can see preflowers on each plant already, prob because of all the right light thats been on them for a while (still about 40% blue though..will keep increasing red gradually til harvest). the good news is that at least 3 of the 4 plants is female. i think one might be a male. but 3 are definitely female!!!:!:

currently at 252 watts of CFL's on each shelf aka 15 600 lumens shining at each of the 2 levels

yeah i added another level. thought it would be a good idea since these plants wont get over 4 feet tall, probably not even 3.5 feet and the closet is 8 feet high. its good the extra shelf will pretty much double the yield.

anyways, what dyou think?

Looking great! With those bigass pots and all that lighting those things are going to be monsters! I should really change closets and grow mine bigger like you're doing. Will be coming back for more progress reports. Props

thanks bro. yeah hopefully they keep growing well

i just bought 2 metal halide bulbs and 2 HPS bulbs on ebay too..without the ballasts. i dont know if i'll be able to use them for this grow but do you know if you can screw metal halide/hps bulbs into a normal light bulb socket if its a heavy duty socket designed to be able to handle the 400 watts? or are the end pieces (the end of the bulb you screw in) a different size for metal halides/HPS bulbs than for normal lightbulbs.. :?:

there are different types of bulb bases. But, even if you do get one that fits into a normal socket it will not work. I've tried the same thing. haha

Plants are looking nice and bushy! Congrats on the girls!

not much of a change..i think theyre still getting used to the 12/12. im sure it comes as a bit of a shock. but theyre looking even healthier than before. got calyxes and hairs growing pretty quickly, and their vertical growth has sped up by alot. getting taller and hairier by the minute..haha

more pics'll be coming in a little while so you can actually see a major change

here are a couple pics i took with a new cell phone that can transfer pics to the comp..better than using the laptop for close-ups

anyways, the plants are actually starting to bud/flower now..you can see the buildup at each growth centre..exciting shit! and they are all growing in height pretty fast too..you can see the main cola really developing giving the plant that hookah shape wide and bushy at the bottom with a tall, lanky cola

hows it all look

Lookin great man. You really think this is a mostly indica? I'de guess from pics maybe a 60/40 sativa/indica cross. Looks dope as fuck so far though.

well at first i thought they were totally indica, but as time has passed ive started to see more and more sativa in them..i still think theyre mostly indica though yeah. thanks bro

You shouldn't plant more than one plant in each pot, (roots getting tangled, some might be male), I used 4 inch Jiffy pots (4/1.00) and than transplanted to 8 inch (.69/each)

theyre all in their own pots now man and they have been for a looong time. i only kept them in the same pots when they were tiiiiny then transplanted them out when they were still very small. so no worries

i opened the closet though a minute ago and almost had a heart attack..it looks like my plants are having problems all of a sudden. maybe there are bugs in there that are eating them? i dont see any bugs though..i saw a single little flying insect on one of the leaves the other day but if i inspect the plants i really cant see any bugs..i dont know whats going on but this is bad news! here are pics from a few mins ago
