Heres what cfl's can do

Just got through this thread and wanted to +rep ya on a killer cfl grow!

I'm using the same nutes (big bloom and tiger bloom) and similar lighting (12 26w cfls, 2 t5ho's, 1 65w cfl...also a 150w hps for good measure) and am just starting week 2 of 12/12.

I think the strain does make a huge difference, as you pointed out a couple times in the thread. People shouldn't expect quite the same results, but you have proven enough cfls and tlc will produce a quality product.

Did you ever consider topping? Your main cola looked so good, you should top to get 4 of them! Your side buds looked great, but you appear to have the space and resources to experiment a little, so maybe consider it? Uncle Ben has an excellent thread detailing how to produce the 4 cola's...

Yeah I topped a mother plant from this strain but when we grew this one,we didnt know about that type of thing.I have since learned about topping and fimming.The mother plant that we just put into flower,has been topped,so were gonna see what happens there.Im curious as to wether or not the buds will be alot smaller than one big bud.

1st off sweet grow tricho nice 1, been using a 200w 6400k cfl + 4 x20w 2700k as side lighting would like to up grade my lower watt bulbs where did you get the 26 + 42 watters from, can i get them mail order? i'm in Ireland and none of the out let stores i've been to stock the higher wattage. thanks

Thanks Bob!we go to home depot or lowes but you dont have those locally,but you should be able to go to them online as long as they dont kill you on shipping.Are you vegging or flowering with your bulb combination?

FUCHING AWESOME dude! well well done! I am seriously considering going full CFL's on my next grow. Regular flouro's are too weak, my 2 150 HPS's are too hot for my closet outside...(I't's coming summer...) and I'm ready to drop some MAZAR to GERm for a summer crop. I've been reading that hot temps can be controlled with CO2, but I dont wanna invest in a tank....think I'm gonna go all CFL's next time, maybe suppliment the flowering room with a HPS....in the last month when it dont matter as much. Between you and Humbolt...I'm sold on CFL's. Again...WAY to go! ^5!................now lemme go read the whole thread! + rep...!

Now, how is your DWC going? I peeped the bubbler in a pic....was wandering if you're experiencing the phenomenal growth factor yet?? Isn't DWC BAD ass!!?

Thanks pencap Good to hear from ya.And thanks for the rep man.Yeah mary (plant 2)was a real beauty.absolutely gorgeous.It was hard to wanna cut her down The extra 2 weeks we let her go made a huge difference in bud production. Cfl's rock.for CHEAP.I just picked up 2-4' t5's today.54 watt and they put out 4860 lumens each.I cant wait to fit em into my area.

Yeah Im still gettin it all figured out.Ive only been starting clones in it so far.getting roots and putting them in dirt.changing res every week and trying to keep it cool.Im running hygrozyme and clonex in it now.I now have a bunch in there that Im growing to the end.SOG in a bubbler. heres a few pics for ya

Ha-ha-ha I knew I would catch some shit about the going to dirt.But I wanted to have some in soil in case I had a catastrophic episode with the bubbler.Can you tell Im not fully confident with it yet? We wanted to get a bunch of clones going in soil before we flowered the 2 mothers.Then one of my new clones is going to be a new momma. Im using my regular bubbler to start the clones although I know I could be using a smaller one for that.Ive been trying to keep the temps down but Im finding out that Im going the wrong direction as far as getting roots to start.Im also finding that ph doesnt matter when getting roots to start.But Im trying to get used to the maintaining constant variables in there.Ive got 10 in there right now that I plan to do a small scrog with.It took a lil' bit but I have roots on some that are 3 " now and looking alot better.I do want to build a small bubbler cloning only unit soon.Im scoping for the right size small container to do it in now.I'll post some pics of my bubbler now,later. heres a couple pics of the flowering mommas from Jane.I'll try and catch you with a pm later tonite pencap.Off to work I go.
