Multi-Strain 12/12 from seed...

what up fellas!? it's been too long...i've just been chillen...i may try my hand at hydro one day when i have spare cash to throw around...i'm not sure why the taste is better with organic soil, i'm no scientist, it just is to me!! last year my good buddy and i had a grow off, same strain, my organic soil setup and his dwc hydro rig, we used white widow and in the end mine was by far the better of the 2 herbs...even my buddy knew it after the 20 days of curing, something about mine was just more desirable, delicious taste and sooo smooth...and i'm not knocking hydro at all, i know super funky weed can be grown, it's just not for me...i know i couldn't build that shit myself and i could be too stupid to work it, hahahah...i'm old school all the way....back to current issues, here's the newest pics and let me say the ladies are booming...i added my 2 tub shop 6500k fluoro light over the back top...the white rhinos are getting massive and there's one himalayan gold that is simply an abomination!! she's wayy over 2 feet tall already and i had to put her in the corner cause she kept growin into the light, no damage luckily...the northern lights is super pretty and healthy....i've fed with tiger bloom and big bloom twice already and the ladies are loving it, they also got some molasses one time....their 35 days old and i have 15 females at the moment...i'm almost 100% some small balls are forming on 1 small hashberry i planted late and the other isn't showing yet....and my buddies cat, ferguson, eating a fish i caught...enjoy my brothas....peace

thanks bro...i can't either, i thought 12/12 from seed was supposed to keep em small!? i'm not complaining though...i'm a bit worried about em outgrowing their space..i'd have to rig sumpin on the ceiling for the light...

Yeah that the same problem im thinkin im gonna have, not bad now but the SHOOT in growth after the switch to 12/12 is crazy and unpredictable. Im gonna tie mine over for a week let em grow out a bit more while im on vacation, will turn back the lights when I get back and see what happens

Some of his strains will finish before others. However he did say that those pictures were at 35 days sp about 1/2 way to harvest.

yeah, i will 4sure have a staggered harvest, and there's about 2 feet of grow room left...if they get any taller than that i'm gonna have to remove the shelf that the light is hangin from and rig it to where the light can hang from the ceiling....i'm very excited about how healthy and great their doin!! have a good weekend...take care

what up brothas!? everybody gearing up for 420?? i was just in the garden and the one hashberry i thought was a male, it's confirmed, small balls are forming...i'm thinking the other is a female, but i gotta wait it out a couple more days...if it's a female i might put both of em outside to make a bunch of hashberry seeds, if male, i was thinking of trying my hand at breeding...any easy tips?? i hear it can be pretty easy...maybe some rhino berry, i saw a kid do it and the results were phenomenal, super dank smoke!! or perhaphs himalayan gold x hashberry, what would that be called?? haha, himalayan berry!? we shall see...so not counting the hashberry's i have 15 females, here's the rundown, the freebies from attitude: northern lights, white widow, purple lady, 2 power skunks, and durban poison, and all are exceding my expectations considering they were free! the rest: 4 white rhinos, 3 himalayan gold, and 2 kc33....have a super stoned 420 friends and i'll catch ya on the flipside...

If one is female and one is male then if it were me I would just put the male outside and its still a gamble if its going to be there later to harvest pollen from. Keep the female inside the room. If you were to put the male and female outside and right next to eachother you will get an assload of seed and these seeds wouldnt nessesarly all be 100% polinated from your male, if there happens to be pollen from a differant male plant blowing through the air this could possibly also breed with your female if its left outside.

This way when the male has flowered you can just cut off a bud from it and shake it over a female bud for a simple crossing. You could also collect and save pollen on cotton swabs then put in a plastic bag and freeze it for later and after you have made a cross its great to save the male pollen you used giving you the option for a back cross. Do your self a bit of research and figure out exactly how and what your going to do as there are many differant ways to preserve pollen and plant breeding. Its pretty much comes down to whats going to work the best for you.

I have stored pollen and used it just over a year later, however I have also had some pollen that failed to work after just a few months in the freezer. what up brothas!? the one hashberry male i just put outside to do his thing, then i'm gonna collect pollen from him...the other hberry lady is staying in the garden and hopefully growing into a magnificent bitch...i also noticed the fem white widow freebie i planted late was either a male or a hermie, so i murdered that bastard...all the ladies are doing phenomenal and everything is perfect as of now, and don't worry, their not yellow, the hps light makes em look it, they actually couldn't be more lush and dark green!....then some no name nuggets i picked up yesterday, super crystally, with a sweet piney smell, and some kief from that herb...and finally my best friend in the world, my rat terrier, Riley...he says what up!? enjoy and take care..

appreciate it friend...yeah, this is my first attempt with fem seeds, and the rest of the fems are goin great at least...all the greenhouse fems are perfect and all except 1 of the fem freebies...i think the harvest is gonna be bigger than i previously thought...i'm not too sure when they'll be done, maybe another month or month and a half...it's def gonna be a staggered harvest with the different strains and some planted later...

luckily i got my own house and there's another closet i used during the last grow that was perfect for drying...i kept taking samples from the diesel ryder and dryin in there, worked well...it's sooo sad, i only have a couple grams of that diesel left, then i'm gonna have to resort to buying weed until my current shit is done, i hate that shit, haha....you get sooo spoiled growing your own...

I have been feeding with every watering, they seem to be loving it!!!! I hope I don't end up with any Hermies. My uncle is also sending my home with a White Widow Baby. I can't wait to get home and watch my babies grow!!!!!!!!!

wow, every watering huh, i do every other but maybe you can do more with coco, thats awesome....try not to stress your ladies and you should be alright with hermies, make sure there's no light leaks either...

Hmmmm, feeding every watering? That guy is either doing a very weak neutrient mix or is pushing his luck in my opinion. You can feed neutrients for every watering however when the levels get to a certian point you could have issues. If any certian neutrient level gets too high the roots will no longer take that neutrient and it can even get to the point where the soil will draw that neutrient out from the root of the plant. If I were this guy I would be feeding with just water for atleast every other feeding your just risking things and wasting neutrients otherwise without any benifit.
