shrooms on drug test

what would shrooms come up as if come up at all on a hair folicle and piss test?lookin for input on shrooms with drug tests. any help is appreciatied

they can show up assuming the pannel they are using tests for them (a lil bit rare)

They usually test for:
weed
coke
pcp
amphetamines
opiates

that panel is pretty damn common, called the NIDA-5 (or SAMSHA 5)

A standard drug test doesn't test for shrooms. There is a more expensive test that will show shrooms, but a common drug test won't show it.

They use a spinal test to test for shrooms but you dont have to do it if you dont want to the cant force you cause it goes against your rights you have to sign a waiver for them to do it to you.

I know this from personel experience

.. no they fucking don't. They can piss test you assuming they have a pannel that can find it, they can also do blood tests. From personal experience huh? So you must be referring to a Cerebral Spinal Fluid (CSF) Collection a.k.a spinal tap? It's illegal to do these tests for drug screening (which is not why they are performed anyways). You're not speaking from personal experience, you're speaking from your ass. They can take your blood and do a gc/ms more accurately for 1/10th the price.

ive always heard it stays in your system for less than 2 days. ive taken like 16 piss tests (work, social worker) and they never tested for psilocybin (spelled wrong probally)

Okay I have heard several different people say this now, and it makes no sense whatsoever. Wtf does food poisoning have to do with a drug test?
Drug tests test for the presence of metabolites of certain drugs in your urine. Psilocybin is metabolized into psilocin, which is what a drug test testing for shrooms would test for. Psilocin has nothing to do with food poisoning, and if a test was not looking for psilocin(most dont) then nothing shows up.

Lol it's been awhile since I've heard the old acid spinal tap story...I guess it now includes mushrooms.

Exactly. Standard drug tests do not test for psilocin. It is rarely if ever tested for. The drug is undetectable in urine within 1-3 days.

God ur so fucking negative. Ur right they dont do spinal taps for drug screening's. But u dont have to rain on the guys parade, as u Always seem to do. Quit drinking that hateorade!

You should take some of your own advice. When I said "mushrooms are not physically harmful they are less toxic then aspirin" here is the genius contention you came up with... :rolleyes:

eh, their just cranky(i get like that sometimes too), they mean no harm so dont take it personal. i agree aspirin is more toxic,thats because you dont hurt yourself physically overdosing on shrooms (i dont think its possible w/em to o.d., but for arguments sake) while you'll hurt yourself physically if you take too many aspirin.

Well lets see...ld50 of aspirin is 1750 mg/kg, ld50 of psilocybin is 12.5mg/kg. I dont know the average psilocybin content of all shrooms so let just use cubensis, which is about 5.6mg/g of dried shrooms....meaning it would take 2.23g shrooms/kg to be lethal, as opposed to 1.75g aspirin/kg to be lethal. So I would say lind's statement is pretty accurate.

the ld50 for rabbits was 12.5mg/kg, however I completely missed the part that says (however rabbits are extremely intolerant to the effects of most psychoactive drugs)

the ld50 for rats was 280mg/kg, so its probably closer to something like that for humans, so to recalculate it would take 50g of dried cubensis/kg for a lethal dose.

So for someone my size, it would take aproximately 4090g(or about 9lbs) of shooms for a lethal dose.
