Just in case, clarifying.....the way he pronounces ask. Life is too short to have to question something so trivial. :-)
AND BUMPING FOR THE CAUSE.

Thankfully I've never heard him talk, but please do have her axe him for an update.

It appears he's not too interested in responding to my email. Maybe he's so busy drumming up support for the bill he just doesn't have time...

RIU is pissing me off. I just posted an at length statement.......only to have it disappear.
I've never heard Earl speak myself personally. I grew up in a family of neurotics pertaining to proper grammar. I just know it drives my mom nuts that he uses that term.
Unfortunately Jerry, Mom's not my best buddy, but I will say she is absolutely an advocate of its legalization---despite the fact that she once had her 13 year-old son arrested for a dime bag...lol a  at that recollection.
Ironically, "that brother" is hounded by head hunters nationally....engernically speaking. Is that even a word? If it was not before, it is now!
As old as my mother is, she still has some serious fire in her. Maybe I'll insinuate in the very near future her/MY dire need for feedback.

Hmm, I'm feeling kind of bold today. Then again, I'm pretty much "ballsy" all the time.

I'm thinking of creating a nice slogan to advocate NC's legalization in hopes of pumping up the general publics awareness of the purposed bill.
LOL, that could be a bad idea today..it is Sunday. Dear God, I can see it now---church goers will surely be giving me "the look."

Speaking of which, just called my mother....she's at church. I'll see if she can use all that energy of hers to get some information later.

I can't believe that I missed this thread for so long!!!

This is amazing that it is even being considered! Right on man, I would have never of thought that the conservative country grits in NC would go for a thing like this.

I am going to send my letters!!!

<cough>....I aint no country bumpkin. ``cheezy grin.
On a more serious note, you gotta love those rednecks. When and if havoc hits this country, they'll be the first to "have your back."

Great to hear DownOnWax, glad to have you along for the fight.

One can only imagine Bojangles becomes way better when you're high...if we just get that word out to NC we'll get this passed no problem!

I hate Bojangles btw. I'm not a native North Carolinian, in fact I'm a bit of Damn Yankee, and I think Bojangles is the worst food I've ever seen. Period. I do like me a good vinegar-based bbq pig pickin' though...:hump:

Never eaten anything from Bojangles other than a biscuit. It didn't suck.
:spew:Pork? Double :spew:.......and no, it has nothing to do with the swine thing.

They do make a mean biscuit...but everything else is not so good.

Still no update from the Gen assembly website or a response from mr earl jones...

Hold out faith and keep spreading the good word!:leaf:

Wow..I cant believe I havent found this thread till now! Been in NC my whole life and well...smoked for most of it too..ha..Anyway, many small steps have been taken over the years, and I'm extremely happy that both of these bills are at least being proposed, again..Honestly, I have heard more people talking about these 2 bills now, and in favor of it (general public) than ever before. Both me and my wife have both sent letters showing our support for the medical legalization. My wife is not a big smoker, yet she does suffer from chronic migranes, which is stated in the bill(s) as being one of the medical issues....She is in full support just like myself, hopefully NC will at least take a few more steps forward..

You didn't have it in Ga. before it was in N.C. It started here.

Bojangles' Restaurants began as the dream of two veteran restaurant operators, Jack Fulk and Richard Thomas. They predicted rising consumer demand for good food served in a quick-service environment and based their concept on three attributes: distinctive flavor; wholesome, high-quality, made-from-scratch products; and a fun, festive restaurant design with fast, friendly service. In 1977 Fulk's dream became a reality with the opening of the first Bojangles' restaurant in Charlotte, NC.
