So I am using beneficial bacteria and whatnot in my soil grows, so there is a need for chlorine free water and I know you hydro folks greatly benefit from it as well.
The guy at my hydro shop tried to sell me a filter for like $100, but I knew I could do better than that. After a little searching I found this
http://www.lowes.com/lowes/lkn?action=productDetail&productId=123904-51915-SL-WH&lpage=none
It attaches to your shower head and the replacement filters are only $10. I just take off my shower head and connect some tubing to the outlet. You now have chlorine free water for $20.
The filter says it removes 100% of chlorine and also removes scale, dirt, etc. Seems like a good alternative to expensive water filters.
Don't jump all over me, I know the other filters like RO are much better, but this is better than plain tap water. And getting the chlorine out of my water is really my only concern at this point.
Hopefully this will help someone.
