I think everything is lined up for doing the roof...I got a vent now just putting it in the roof. The weather is still mild and temps aren't a problem with only one 600 watt HPS.

I am going to get rid of the 600 and move to a 1000 watt at the end of this first crop. Then I am going to get 3 more after a couple more harvests. I was going to go with 4x600 but it would have left me wanting to improve.

1000watt MH 18x30=540 hours a month
4000watt HPS 12x30=360 hours

5000watts x 900 hours =4500 KHh

Rate= .06 Per KWh

.06 x 4500 = $270 Per Month

I cracked out the energy bill and tried to figure what it will cost to get up to full speed per month in electricity.

Can anyone check my math this is the first time I've tried this shit...

360x.06= 21.60 for my 600wat a month...

idk.....math is my weak point ...except for hustln math..but n e ways i wuz going to do the roof vent thing..but i didnt want another hole, and to be monkeying around on the roof..plus the neighbors gawlking ..this is wut i decided..instead of drawing warm air away from the hoods and exhausing hot air to the attic..where it cooks the shit out of the roof from inside..heres wut i came up with..use a large fan to pull intake from cold air sorce..or at least 10 degees cooler then operation..pull that air over your hoods via intake, and then exhaust to attic..im hoping this will actually be blowing semi cool air up there instead of hot. Y splitter on the intake..so i can still blow intake in the room itself and not just the lamps. just an idea..and it hasnt been tested by me yet..but i think itll work..and back up is like u said direct to out..but thats what i dont wanna do..

I decided to take the auto flower clones out to the green house...This might be the only viable option for this strain....Short outdoor grow times could be coped with easy if it will start to bud in 5 weeks. I don't have anything to cross this with...no pollen....I don't how long it will take to finish?

it took me a long time to figure out electricity and all that shit.. watts, amps, volts.. it was confusing.. i have a good friend who is an electrician and helps me do all the wiring i need done.. he taught me a lot about it all... glad it came in handy

Duct tape..helping people who don't know how or cant afford to do the job right.

I need a bit more tubing and I am going to punch another intake hole up to it and pull from the other room as I was going to run CO2 and I didn't want to vent it out.

I have gone away from the CO2 for awile I think the best way to do pull hot air from the other side of the light and vent it out?

LOL...Most people cant understand...

they think you throw some seeds in the ground and you get 13 pounds. They don't have a clue. That vent put my temps at 76 to 78 last night.

It will be 3 or 4 months before I will be able to get the lights...I figure 1 per month. Unless I breakdown and save on shipping and handling. I'm kinda tight about dumb shit. (shipping and handling)

So if i can I will order 2 lights at a time instead of 1

"i have a 26w cfl, why are my plants growing??".. or "ive been feeding my plant miracle grow everyday.. why are my plants dead"... it takes SO much work to really get the most out of your girls.. it almost insults me when i read about people who do dumb shit like that kinda shit... oh well...

a few months isnt bad to get things up and going... it'll go by fast... i REALLY hope i can get all my remaining supplies i need from this harvest.. but.. i dunno for sure... that anticipation is killin me!!

LOL....I had someone tell me PH isn't important...as its killing one of my plants. I have a few paitents that i help with getting started...There finally giving up on there CFLs...I was just looking at his room....It needs more light....I talked him into a 400 HPS conversion bulb...Now im gonna work on getting him to upgrade to a 600 HPS... He's gonna order when I order soon.

How often do you water? I only have to water every 5 to 7 days..

Being on a budget is bull shit....We just need a few thousand apiece that we can spend on the rooms and well be straight...A couple more months
