I am not an Obama hater, I voted for the guy. I just want to hold his feet to the fire for all his rhetoric and campaign promises, like the one that meant the most to me, universal health care. That's the difference between me and a conservative. Although me and my wife have adequate health care, I am concerned for the millions that don't. A conservative is concerned for his ass only. With Obama backpeddling on universal health care, I feel betrayed. I am down with most of his agenda, and compared to the opposition, there is no comparison, he is by far the best choice. Just doing stuff like talking to the muslims is a very positive sign to me. The old more flies with honey routine. I wish him well and hope he can bring the country more to the left. A socialistic form of Capitalism is what the nation needs, there are way too many millionaires and poor people, we need more middle class.this is for all you President Obama haters. this is how a REAL President gets it done.....later dudes....

I agree with you med about the healthcare deal...we need single payer. I think it looks like he is bowing to the pressure of the heathcare/insurance industry...but I still have faith...maybe if enough of us let him know how we felt he would do better...I think he listens to the people.

I'm no antisemitic but I am tired of the total support by past Presidents and all because they're scared of jewish US voting power.. what exactly has Israel done for the US.. fought in a war with them.. no... supplied support in UN matters...no... take any slower steps in building settlements so US can at least try to slow jewish hatred.. He just can't be expected to walk in and do what he said in his election speeches right away.... but he's done more of them than past Preses.. and w/out a "Mission Accomplished" fiasco.. plus until he gets a stronger majority and some more positive public opinion he's getting his ducks in a row then he'll finish what he's started...

Leagalization is a very touchy issue that will piss off just as many ppl as it makes happy. Remember the reason it is illegal is that ppl dedicated their lives to making it that way. If anything look for that to be a second term issue.

When it comes to pot its not the difficulty in proving to some the benefits and value of weed.. its the "DISproving" all the rhetoric and misinformation that they've been subjected to in the past and sadly the present.....you know the "raving gangs of druggies" that will befall the world.... damn you can barely get a "roving gang of druggies" for a pot day parade... so thats out the window....
