I haven't seen one of those yet, but the cost of living still goes up. My rent has been raised twice since I moved in here, yet no raise to compensate. You have to remember that wherever you work has expenses too. Any kind of raw material that a business uses to produce a product or provide a service will become more expensive for the business to buy.then you get a "cost of living" increase at work, so what's it all matter?
In all reality, businesses will cut A LOT of jobs. I'm talkin bare minimum to still provide services. Just think about the stink a lot of places have been making because minimum wage went up to $5.75 an hour! Most likely, thousands of companies would just go out of business, creating an epidemic of joblessness, which would further make the economy spiral out of control until it crashes in flames to the ground. Bye bye America!
