nice man im still workin on my room not quite finish i do have one plant in there with a 400 watt hps and wat kind of temps do u get

man i fought heat problems for a year be4 i came up with thios setup. i stillgot way bad ass big dence buds, but i also got the mite along with it. the higher your temps the more likely your going to get a mite infestation. im on my way to a more mye free room with temps like that.:hump:

do you think a 12" - 1100cfm fan will be enough to aircool all 4 thousand watters?? the exhaust duct is at most going to be 8 feet long.. so its a really short distance to exhaust.. just dont know if itll do the job..

you see ive been having the same prob well see i have a direct 6 in ac line from my house ac into my room and i have a cooltube with a fan suckin the hot air from that hps with evreything on fans and all i get temps around 73-77 but wen the ac turns off it get a nice 86 degrees i dont kno it thats all that bad but i have notcied at night it get pretty damn cold in ther the lowest i seen it was 64 degrees i need to look up on one of those timers/control that turn shit on and off to control temps

thats what i wanted to get but when i got the cost of that setup my asshole hurt for a month... LOL ya that would be plenty. i wouls say put the fan in the middle of the 4 lights or just after the last light.:hump:

im going to get some timers like that for my a/c.. so it kicks on and off when temps are to high.. if they even get there.. who knows what they will be.. solid investment for sure though.. i dont have any type of a/c, except the window until in the grow room, in my house... im going to get central air put in sometime and run the main duct to that room... at least thats the plan... if need be.. dont need to spend the money if it doesnt need to be spent tho..

i know how you feel bout the cost and shit... ill have 10 grand in my grow room when im done... yea... it still chaps my ass...
what i plan on is this... the reflectors i am getting have 2x6" flanges on them.. so ill run the back two to the front two lights.. then run the the two front ones to a 6x6x10 splitter... the 10" side of the splitter will actually have 12" ducting fitted to it (they dont have 6x6x12 splitters).. then the 12" duct will go to the fan and then be exhausted... i drew a kindergarten picture for you.. obviously its NOT to scale by any means.. just to give you an idea of what i mean.. and also there will be some duct between the splitter and the fan.. i have no idea why i just put the fan where i did... tell me what you think of this setup??
