The cost of growing is far too much to just do 150 an ounce. Yeah that price would be great, but as noted by previous posters, It is highly illegal in alot of the states. Not just a slap on the wrist or even half legal, its HIGHLY ILLEGAL. Sometimes, the price you get from the lb on you and driving infront of a cop. The rush alone is worth the money you just got from your client.

As we will always complain about prices, whether its eggs, milk, gas, or green in this case. Its a buyers market always in every market. As buyers we are never obligated to buy anything at all.

The risk of growing and selling in a black market does'nt reflect on the price...bullshit! Check this out. How bout I can get a brick of white for $2000 in Panama. What good is it doin me in Panama? None and that's just it in order to get it transported up here would add on between $8000-$10,000 give or take. Same with weed. Dude I know used to grow down here in S Florida then drive it up in a moving truck to NY. Around that time the going rate for high grade around here was like $3000-$3700. He was takin that shit up there and smackin them in tha face for $5400 a lb and they were lovin him, mostly cause they did'nt have that up there. Supply and Demand, how much risk is involved, and quality all are factors in the setting of the price.

That's true, but once your indoor is set up, it just keeps on giving. Also, the turn around on an indoor grow far exceeds outdoor cultivation per sq. ft.

So for a 500 set up, the first 4 ounces pay for the initial cost. If you sell.

Personally, I feel that if you want to end the drug war, all you have to do is take the money out of the equation. The cops certainly don't and can't do this. But the growers can, but they are caught up in the very same greed they rail against in politics. If we sold it cheap, the cops would leave it alone. There would be no profit for them!!!

This is also true. Thats why most things are the prices they
are if expensive; because of transportation costs.

I know all about it. My mom is a truck driver, she knows all the
costs of transportation and what-not.

making some extra money on the side. But I think that OVER $300 for an
oz is insane.

And people are shady where I live. Thats why I miss having my brother
here. (moved to texas) They try to sell you an ounce of regular chronic
WITH seeds for $480!!!!

Fuck that. I will take that $480 and make a rubbermaid tote, buy seeds,
and all the supplies for a lot less than that and be selling it way cheaper
than this guy; JUST to put him out of business for selling at such insane prices.

Why shouldn't someone make their sole income off of selling weed? Who are you (or the government) to tell anyone what to do.

We are suppose to have a free market here. Noone should be able to tell you what to charge for weed or any other thing. If you don't like the price of weed find another source or grow it yourself. Noone should be able to regulate the market.

Word , your brother was a good dude. I plan on doin it not all that different from him after all I've personally felt the sting of having to pay $300+ an oz, but by the same token you get what you pay for in theory.
