lol...I think your onto something there. Im going to be removing the chicken wire and building a fish line fence this week. I take two 8 month old bull mastiffs with me when I go up there now, and they always have a pissing contest to end all pissing contests. Im not using any nutes right now. The water that is feeding them is out of an artesian well with large feeder fish inside. Im sure there are natural nutes in the water, but Im looking into some "tea" for them. If anyone has any special recipes please let me know. Thanks.

premix equal portions crushed and composted (at least 48 hr) lamma shit, sheep shit, bat shit, sea bird shit, earth worm castings, all organic fish emulsion, bone meal, oystershell. After its composted together alittle bit add water putting 1/2 cup per gallon of water into a large container (you decide how much to make, save left over compost for next tea in three weeks ;) ) mix and let sit outside in shade (but still warm right :D ) overnight, mixing every couple hours......... use the next morning before it heats up, water all the plants lightly (or a good amount if in ground) then hit with your tea, and water lightly again :).

lamma's and sheep are kept by people on the outskirts of towns and small cities as well as larger ranches, farmers are either happy to be rid of it, use it themselves, or sell it. If you ask around or post a flyer at a local outskirt market etc. you can find these items free. Everything else you can buy either online or from local nurseries. I usually dress the plants with a mulch of chamomile as it helps balance ph keep away mold and fungus etc. Be careful though, chamomile is known to attract deer! Make sure if you buy stuff its certified organic, and is in its rawest form. meat packing facilities or slaughtering houses sometimes produce bone and/or blood meal. Fisheries produce emulsion...... and bat guano is collected for its all around value....... try to find a source that distributes from and area with rich resources ;).

I made the fish line fence using the trees and bushes around it, and removed the top piece of chicken wire. The plants are growing fast, and the stalks are 3/4" in diameter now.

well unfortunatley the fish line fence did not work. A deer must have got tangled in it and ripped one side down completley. The deer only topped one plant this time. the pic below was taken last thursday. I will post a new pic tommorow. But on the good side I get to harvest my indoor today. :mrgreen:

start feeding ur urine diluted 1 piss to a gallon, the deer don't like anything that smells human. u can also got to a tackle shop where they sell fly tying supplies and get a cyote tail, (or shoot it ur self) and sprikle the hair around ur grow.

Im contemplating whether I should shoot it, or build a real fence. They both have thier downsides. The plants are on private property, so killing the deer would be okay, but Im sure theres more than one.

I hear that. Im going to do everything except house a dog in there. I think I will use horse fence. Im getting a Mr. Nice guy mother tommorow. Im going to clone it, then plant it with the romulans. So I need to get on that fence.

Romulans?!?!?!?!!!! wait wish I was growing romulans...... lucky dog..... fencing usually works....... but I have seen deers jump six feet strait up a mounainside and jump over a six ft fence from there.......

I would hate to kill a deer just because it was eating my plants. However it would kill some time to build a deer stand, and I do love jerky.

wow... thats very unfortunate! it probably wasnt a deer... usually if a deer bumps into something like that they wont try to cross is if they cant see it they have no reason to jump (deer dont have the greatest eye site as well) it could have been a small fawn that got tangle or something bigger like bear! bear have been known to eat or trample vegetation! i have a buddy who has seen many bear mingling around their crops! NO BULLSHIT! but they wait til bear season to kill it which in cali is generally around the beginning of sept... aug. for archery!!

The irrigation system was messed with by my helper, without them knowing it. They drained the pond to the point where the pipe taps in. The plants are still looking good. They one that got topped last time is REALLY short, but it has about four tops if not more. Sorry I dont have pics..next time.
