Good day all.....

So here be the clones at 9 Days, All 9 Rooted....
they were done with 24/7 pump on and PH-5.5 water with only 1 tea spoon of Growzyme in the Rez,
i only add Growzyme cause it helps keep the Rez mix Bacteria free, well the bad ones....

The clones are ready for soil if you so chose,
but i like to wait a full 14 Days just to give the Roots a way better start....

those Black ones are not misters, they are 360 degree spinner sprayers, and i got them at my Local Hydro store..... i only use misters in the cloner, veg and flower get spinner sprayers...

Hows the corrugated plastic for your flower trays holding up?
How thick did you get em and from where?

Those flower trays are expensive too, damn $60 apiece for 4'x2'x1'.
Im gonna do four of them for two week cycles across the board.
2 cloning weeks, two veg, 8 weeks of flower, for a total 3 month life time.
Under two 600 HPS lights for optimal 4x4 coverage.
Also using T5 lighting system for the veg @ 10k lumens.

Should do at least 1.5elbows every two weeks, what do you think?

Good day there.....

The corrugated plastic is alot stonger then people think,
the stuff is used in greenhouse construction all around the world,
you can find it clear, white or tinted,
it's made to with stand the weather, UV, even snow wieght,
i personally have stood on roofs of that stuff fixing things,
190lbs standing on that shit with nuthing below,
4'x8' sheet just held in place with screws...

You can find it in most big depot's,
but you might have to order some thro them...

Those trays and corrugated plastic still cheeper then buying the big round PVC man,
$60 for a tray that could do hundreds of plants per batch....
seems worth the coin....
i intend on doing 3 tables with 100 potz each,
i only went 24 till i get the hang of aeroponics,
i just gotta change the tops out and presto,
you'd have to buy more PVC and all to add to those systems,
and they cost hundreds!


As for how much you'll turn out.....
that's up to your grow abilities, the enviroment and the amount and wattage of lights you use....

By the way wtfh4xx,
i thought i'd be nice and post this on my thread and not yours,
but you should really reconcider using the Clear Plastic Rez for your veg system,
a Rez should Always be pitch black inside,
No Light!!!! at all!!!!
Otherwize you get Algee and bacteria build-up......
Just some friendly advice...

and yes sir, you are rite!
i made another boo boo....
started all my DIY writing on note pad way before i posted it,
and i remeber adding the extra 2 in the middle after that!
i shoulda looked!
At leaste i gave good pics so you all can count it, lol.......

Sorry for the typo again, thats only 2, not bad!

And I'll be doing another Journal in a week or so, it'll be from mom to smoke in the Aero systems, and i got 8 strains to run tro it and find the best for SOG.....

Yea, I plan on spray painting its exterior black. Also I put a bit of hydrogen peroxide in there to counteract algae.


Also, its $60 for a 4x2 tray. And thats 24 plants per tray comfortably, I wouldnt put them any closer together. With a 600 HPS above every two trays for the optimal 4x4' lighting.

So I plan on having almost 100 plants in a 4'x8' footprint. :-D

All legal too, got scripts from a bunch of people and am cultivating for the club.

Do you have to run a resevoir with the veg and cloning systems? Can you just use a bigger res and put some air stones in the bottom?

the cloner is a rez, but the Veg system is seperate,
and Yes you can just use 1 deep jug for the Veg and Flower systems,
But...
Then it becomes something different... Aquaponics, DWC or what not...
Aeroponic systems keep the roots seperate from the Rez.....

And the more airstone the better IMO.....

Good day all,
thought i would get some updated pics of the Roots in the Flower systems for you,

I have noticed a big difference in the root structures between plants that have been Vegged or not!

The clones that went from the cloner into 12h have massive roots mainly from the pot down with little bottom of grow tray spreading...








The 2 weeks Vegged before 12h batch has way less and smaller roots that barley spread outa the pot but have litteraly taken over the whole bottom of the grow tray!










I think that i shall try the veg system for less time next, only a week or mabey even less! :joint:

Well, good day all, how the hell's it going? ......

so here be some grow updates....

I took a Full new batch of HSS clones,
changed the rez water and restocked it,
1 of the 4 clones that went thro with the dead pump has died,
and only 1 is really showing root growth..... damit
So i left the 3 in the freshly stocked cloner hopin they work.....

Sorry to hear about the clone, thankfully you can always make another.

I noticed in your other setup you have the roots just going into net cups, is there another foam insert around the base of their stem or are you using something like a cup cover?

Hay there....

And ya, i can get another of them clones,
buddy that has those strains got them in veg still.....
i'll probly wind up with a few more strains too tho so i better wait a bit on them, he's got like 10 strains all different then my 5 strains.....

And i use Neoprean Pucks in the pots, and thats all!
i start clones in mid air in 1 1/2 neoprean pucks,
then transfer the to 3" Neoprean Pucks and gently incert them all into a 3" Net pots...

And you don't have a problem with the inserts getting pushed up past the lid of the net pot as the stem and roots grow?
