Literally wardrobe growing

A few more pictures from today. I forget how far gone they are now haha. But yeah I guess they're about 3 weeks into flowering... well 3 weeks on 12/12 as the WM started flowering way before that. So here's some updates...

The Amnesia Lemon... I know there's a dude on here growing Amnesia Lemon and he has had a real problem with it but touch wood so far mine has been as good as gold. He is growing a few strains and out of 3 AL plants only 1 is doing okay. But here's mine...

White Moscow...

I think I'm going to need to get a magnifying glass to check out the trichs. Although from the naked eye they mostly look milky. I don't think she has much longer to go before she needs the chop. Maybe 7-10 days max? Remember she is an auto-flowering so she does mature quickly.

Thanks for looking and thanks for taking the time to comment. It's much appreciated!

Oh yeah and to add, I found a tiny black fly (fruit fly?) dead in the main cola on the WM. I'm thinking maybe he took a MASSIVE THC hit and was either dead or proper comotozed. Oh well, he is definitely dead now as he has gone down the sink!

Wow that AL is looking DANK bro  nice job on her. The WM is looking great as well. Let her keep going no rush here. She still has some white pistils on her so let 'er go for another 7 days then chop.

Thank you, thank you! =]

I'm just looking into harvesting and curing at the moment but I think people seem to not go into enough details about the actual snipping part. The small leaves that are covered in trichs - do these get cured along with the bud or are these the leaves people talk about when making stuff like hash? Do you trim these leaves right down into the bud?

trhe trimming is personal preference. some go for the fully manicured look and others take few if any of the bud-leaves away. Any trimmings that you do generate are those that produce hash or oil or butter or whatever else you might do with it. I think only fdd takes like premium bud and makes hash or oil with it sometimes. The joys of an overabundance of premium bud ... hahahaha! Good luck bro!! Walk on!!~~

Hey I was just checking out my White Moscow and I saw something GROWING in the pot. It's like tiny. Do I let it grow it should I pull it out?

I wonder what sort of plant/weed it is...

Cute little dude anyway.

lol just yank it. And ya trimming is personal preference. I get the big full fan leaves. If it is just on finger sticking out less than an inch I keep it. Specially if its covered in trichs. Most of the bigger leaves have enough trichs on them to save and use for butter or oil.

Obviously the fan leaves are useless for doing anything with as there are no trichs on them, so when people make hash cakes, butter, oil or whatever I’m assuming they’re using the leaves in and around the bud with the visible THC… however, can these bud leaves not just be dried and cured as like the bud and smoked? Or is it the fact that bud leaves taste like crap?

For a fella that just wanted to mess about with a closet grow you sure ended up with GREAT looking plants!! Excellent work.

Why thanks very much! I have tried to take pretty good care of them! I am also hoping my AL doesn't go hermie on me as there's nothing really I can do too much about the closet leaks without making the closet difficult to use for my clothes in there.

Ya no you dry and cure the trim thats is all frosty like you would your buds and just save save save till you have enough to make something out of it. Throwing in some buds won't hurt anything either :)

I’ve not really read anything simple for a newbie like me on this sort of thing. Just so I can clarify I’ve clasped the basics of what you’re saying… I chop down the branches and remove the big fan leaves. Obviously the biggest bud is on the end of the main stem. I then ‘prune’ the buds so that they look well manicured without any leaves poking out and as pure bud as possible and then leave some stalk so I can hook it on to a piece of string to hang them. With the bits I’ve cut off and around the bud with trichomes visible on them, I keep and dry these out, alongside the main buds? So after I’ve dried out these bud leaves and left over bits from the pruning, what do I do with them? Cure them in jars separately? I assume the big fan leaves and the majority of the stalks I’m cool with just lobbing in the bin? Thanks boss.

Worked out how old the plants are...

White Moscow (auto flower) = 73 days (just over 10 weeks)

Amnesia Lemon (been on 12/12) = 30 days (just over 4 weeks)

And some latest pictures. Up first is the Amnesia Lemon...

The White Moscow...

A close up of the trichs on the White Moscow... she near harvesting can anyone tell?

The pair together...

Sweet comment guys! I'm glad I can be some sort of inspiration to newbie growers too. This set up has not cost me much. I think a lot of it comes down to just taking good care of your plants and being regimented. Don't water them too often, water them when they need it, make sure you give them some fresh air once a day, make sure you keep conditions as constant as possible etc. And of course, a large amount of luck helps too!

Anyone have any views on the trichs at all? Thanks.
