i did say "half-way"..... in normal conditions, with other plants, you would (as has been mentioned by another party earlier) politely ask the homeowner if they would mind if you took a cutting or two off of their plant in question; given the legal/taboo status of pot, people skip that courtesy and just take the whole damn plant..... after having a few plants stolen, i would call it considerate if i found a clone sized branch missing:-|

Barring a life threatening need, I do not steal. . . Anything.
If someone politely asked me for a cutting I would happily acquiesce. These people are not stealing your plants cause they want a clone, they are stealing them to smoke/sell and rarely do they do it when the plants are ready.
I'll bend over backwards for Family, friends or even aquantiences but I abhor a thief.

sucks u got jacked man... next time drive near a mountain and hike to your plants or put them somewhere else... growing marijuana outside your house is asking to get stolen.

you guys are talking crazy. ANYBODY who takes ANY AMOUNT from me without asking has huge problems in the immediate future if i found out. stealing graduates to robbery a lot of times and where i live theres only two real ways to look at theft; either they stole it when you werent there or robbed you if you were. violence is largely justified when theft comes into play.

i had 4 plants stolen from me before but i know it was more of my fault. i was more mad at the fact i was found out than that it was taken really. if my aim is to hide it where only i have access to it and someone still finds it....cant be mad at that. i should add that i only feel that way about weed theft if your growing it on your own property. if it isnt on your land/plot/property, how can you be mad in the 1st place? but i dont agree with the cutting philosophy, thats bs. i couldnt sit alone in a room with someone who just took something from me and didnt ask youre much more tolerant than me

Couple of days ago i found a robust trail to my plot-plant was not taken, but still, im so so beef about the whole situation.
Dont have a better spot and the transplant is very difficult:hump:

I am starting to doubt weather some of you whom claim to have plants stolen,even have. If you knew the feeling of getting ripped(especially for 10,not 1 or 2) you guys wouldn't be talking about this clone cutting and shit. Fact of that matter is,I've never been robbed and now I have been.They came on to my property,snuck trough my shit and snuck out.Who's to say that the fuckers aren't going to try and hit my house next??Getting plants from outside is one thing i know, but you can imagine why I feel that way when they were about 40 feet from my back door. I am over the plants, its kinda relieving now not worrying about it and not taking care of all of em but I actually felt depressed for a while...weird. But to think about it now just makes me mad as hell.Like I am going to smoke now,thanks guys.fuck.

i cant beleave that so many people think its ok to take things that dont belong to them. i think the problem today is parents never say no to their kids what ever they want they get and if there parents cant get it for them they just steal it i think it maybe lack of getting there ass whipped from there parents. we all blame the kids but maybe its the parents falt .

wow thats horrible man.. i could only imagine.. i would pop their heads with a table vice... wtf y couldnt they have been more educated on the growing on marijuana? that way they might have been smart enough to just take off a couple clones.. i'd smack a lil bugger for that too, but at least its not nearly the same as them pullin the whole plant, just so they can try to plant it in their backyard n let it die.. like i said before.. horrible.. my condolences my brotha
