Very slow growth rate if your res temp is high.Less oxygen available to the plant.I use a nano-chiller on my res and keep it at 68 degrees.i think the sperate buckets it the best way to go. to grow some bigger plants. i have about a 4x7 grow area but i can only grow 6 plants at a time. so i want to get the most yeild i can out of my girls so that why i was thinking on going hydro. dose any one know what will happen to my plants it the temps get too high in the water? dose it kill them? or just slow downd production like with soil?
how much did that coast you? do you think i would get alot better yeild with dwc then soil? will the high heat be way worst in hydro then soil with high heat growing wise?Very slow growth rate if your res temp is high.Less oxygen available to the plant.I use a nano-chiller on my res and keep it at 68 degrees.
It was around $100 for it and the temp controller.Never done soil so not sure, but my last grow was WB a single plant and i got 226 grams dried.how much did that coast you? do you think i would get alot better yeild with dwc then soil? will the high heat be way worst in hydro then soil with high heat growing wise?

thanks man. i know we had our differnces in the past but you realy came threw and help out big time! thanks! if you come across any good diy's let me know i need to figure out how to run 6 diff buckets under 1 res.Nope no heater. That is what the controller is 4.
I have ran it without the controller and the 4 gallon bucket gets down to 54 degrees.
You can dial it in quit nicely
What's making a res temp get down to 54? Is the room around it that cold? Also, have you see the "Ebb and Grow" system at Discount Hydro? Very expensive but is your setup similar to that?Nope no heater. That is what the controller is 4.
