hey klmmicroHPS puts out more lumens for the same wattage. More importantly, the spectrum is closer to the autumn sun that the plant would naturally be flowering under. I would go ahead and get the 250W HPS for your flower stage. You WILL see better results and the bulbs are not that expensive, probably about $30 to $50 depending on brand. Keep your MH for your vegging phase. The HPS conversion bulb will work with your existing ballast, so you are good there too. You should need nothing more than the bulb.
