thanks for the helps boys. And the lights are as low as they can go. They are all within an inch of tops of the leaves. I did have them higher when they first popped out of the dirt, this is why they look so stretched.
okay so according to the pros i've been worrying too much and watering the babies too much so I decided to let them sit there and not water them. They seem to be doing fine. In fact I feel like its almost time to put them into FFOF/PERL/Verm mix under the 1000watt mh light for 18 hours. Basically I'm thinking about starting the veg process. Once again I would appreciate your thoughts on this because idk if its too soon and I dont want to nuke my babies. I would be transplanting them into a 3 gallon pot during this procedure.they look much happier now than in your first post. *sigh* they are so cute at this age
I would recommend not putting them under the 1000w mh until they reach say at least their 3rd to 4th true set of leafs. The reason for this is you want the plants to amass a substantial root system in comparison to the plants bio mass before you put its metabolism into high gear with high intensity lighting. Otherwise the plant will grow vigorously and the roots wont have time to catch up. I mean you could throw it under the 1000w right now but this will affect your overall yield in the end. Remember a plant can only grow really good and lots of bud if it has an exceptional network of roots also healthy ones might I add. But hey ask 3 growers one question and you get 10 different answers, so that's just my play on things. []Deace!okay so according to the pros i've been worrying too much and watering the babies too much so I decided to let them sit there and not water them. They seem to be doing fine. A side note, I also found out my pH meter was busted and giving me false reading. I thought my pH was at 6.8 this whole time when really it was at 7.5. Luckily I caught this error and will now be giving my babies correct pH of 6.6.
Okay well some of my babies are having some problems again. The leaves are begging to turn yellow and some of them have burnt tips and are curling. I hate it. I just have been leaving them alone and they kick sick again. I feel like a worried parent, all I want is for them to be healthy and grow big dank buds. For a start give the poor babys some nutreints and get them into a pot.Give them a small ammount of nurients unless it is for small seedlings like baby bio or plantstart.Put the warm spec lights on the grow room walls to get the heat away from the plants. Then i would replace the warm daylight tubes with cool daylight tubes this way you can have the lights within inces of the plant tops. The warm lights will give the little heat needed for the plants to grow into monster producers.I have 1 hash plant going now under 3 cfl's 1 warm 2 cool daylight and the plant loves it i have the cool spec over the tops about 3 cm off the tops. But you will need something more powerful if you are wanting a big yeild h.p.s/h.i.d.I'M not a lover of h.i.d light i think that h.p.s lighting has alot more to offer the grower.I would try and get hold of a 250 h.p.s get to grips with this light then move up the ladder to a 600/1000 watt h.p.s.But you will need a good exaust fan to keep the temps down.
I added the fan yesterday. I didn't want to risk shocking them with a fan blowing right on them so I put a 4inch fan in the room. I think this should help with the air circulation and what not. Today I'm switching them to a bigger pot and putting them in the FFOF. Perl. Verm mix.lol, all but that last pic look perfectly fine. u could be under or overwatering or it could be too hot or nuteburn if u tried to feed them already. got a fan blowing on them?
Hey Mate, i wouldnt stress too much, they do take a few weeks before you can start to notice them growing each day.
Here are some seedlings that are between 2-3 Weeks Old.

I'm so sorry its been so long but I had a lot of issues with my grow room and like supplies and stuff and I had a buddy watching my babies. But he did a shitty job so now daddy is taking care of them. Some of them had burnt and yellow tips or what not so I cut them away. He also kept the 40Watt 4 foot light like 2 feet away from the plants so some of them are a little stressed. But now I have them under 1000Watt Mps 22inches away. I did have them under a MH but the bulb blew out in three minutes. (no i didnt touch it with my hands). They're in FFOF and going under light for 18 hours. Please let me know how i'm doing and how long to veg for. I'm also thinking about starting up some WW so that should be fun. Cheers
I think I read here humidity can b much more than that in veg, and should b? IDKHi so this is my first grow and I decided to start off with a closet grow. I'm using
4 foot florescence cool white and warm white bulbs
peat moss starter pellets
NYC diesel 10 female
Tap water with a ph of 6.7
So some of my baby plants are doing well which you can see from the pics but the biggest one is having the most trouble. Some of the smaller ones are having trouble also. Their leaves are turning yellow and the biggest one is like crumpled up.
I have about one cm of water in the starter incubator but I just took the top off of it today. I haven't had the fan running yet because I felt my babies were too small. The temperature and humidity were at 79, 41 respectively when I checked. Can someone please help me I don't want my babies to die.
